ILLUME TAIPEI
This was my first stay at a luxury international hotel, and I couldn’t be more impressed. We drove in, but the hotel’s location is fantastic—right next to both Xiaojie Station and Nanjing Fuxing Station on the MRT, making it super easy to get around Taipei. Just a short walk from the hotel brings you to major shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment spots, perfect for first-time visitors exploring the city. The room was spotless, modern, and spacious—especially the bathroom, which clearly had been recently renovated. The soundproofing is excellent; even in the middle of a busy urban area, we slept like babies through the night. We stayed in a triple room with three adults and two large suitcases plus two carry-ons—plenty of space, no crowding at all. Plus, the hotel offers dedicated parking, a huge plus for those arriving by car. With its unbeatable convenience, clean design, and family-friendly layout, this place delivers exceptional value. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Taipei!

One minor downside was the weak water pressure in the shower, which slightly affected the experience. Breakfast was standard—not fancy, but satisfying enough to start the day without needing to grab something elsewhere. Overall, this hotel delivers great value, excellent location, and a comfortable stay. I’d definitely return.

Plus, there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it easy to hop on the Minsheng Express line for trips around town.
