The hotel itself has a stylish design that feels like a solid 4-star experience. Staff are warm and welcoming, greeting guests upon arrival and departure, and they even offer a little welcome gift. Free coffee and drinks are available throughout the day, there's a microwave for guest use, and the included bathhouse is a real plus—though we arrived too late and tired to make use of it (definitely next time!). The location of Meitetsu Grand Hotel is absolutely fantastic—getting around by train, bus, or even on foot is incredibly convenient. The hotel’s private elevator leads directly to the B1 level, where you’ll find HARBS bakery right next to the takeout counter, and just a short walk away is a bustling department store food court and direct access to the underground shopping complex. We stayed in a triple room, which was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the soundproofing—some noise from the hallway could be heard, but it didn’t bother us much. The lighting in the room had a slightly yellowish tone, which made the space feel a bit dim, but again, that’s a minor issue when you consider how central and well-connected the hotel is. For travelers who value convenience and easy access to dining and shopping, this place is a real winner. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Nagoya.
