Kyo-Machiya Stay Waka Fushimiinari
Stayed here with a group of six friends, and it was absolutely perfect! The location is fantastic—just a short walk or quick subway ride to Fushimi Inari Shrine. The traditional Kyoto machiya architecture gives the place such a unique charm, blending old-world character with modern comfort. Spacious rooms made it easy for all six of us to feel relaxed and at home. Everything was spotless, the beds were super comfy, and the bathroom felt luxurious. Staff went above and beyond—they were friendly, helpful, and even gave us great local tips we wouldn’t have found on our own. The value for money was outstanding. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto.

I had a fantastic stay at Urban Hotel Kyoto Fushimi! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful right from check-in. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right next to a chain fast-food restaurant and a FamilyMart convenience store, so all essentials are just steps away. Best of all, it’s super close to Fushimi Inari Shrine—walking there took me only about 10 minutes, which made exploring the famous torii gates so convenient. I appreciated the self-service laundry room, perfect for longer stays or travelers with lots of clothes. Housekeeping comes every three days for a full clean, but they still leave fresh towels and new trash bags outside the door daily—such a thoughtful touch. Clean, well-located, and great value. I’d definitely book here again on my next trip to Kyoto!
