Staying at Regal Oriental Hotel was an excellent experience from start to finish. The room was spacious and well-designed, with the air conditioning system working perfectly—no cold drafts blowing directly onto the bed, which made sleeping really comfortable. Hot water was strong and consistent, perfect for a relaxing shower after a long day. Complimentary coffee and tea bags were a nice touch, especially during early mornings or late nights. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, offering a serene retreat right in the heart of Hong Kong. There are plenty of dining options nearby—great for grabbing a bite whether you're craving local street food or international cuisine—and getting around via the MTR is super convenient. I had to run some errands upon arrival, so I asked a friend to drop off my luggage at the hotel ahead of time. Check-in time is 3:00 PM, but having the option to check in earlier would be even better, especially for travelers with tight schedules. There are also plenty of local eateries and convenience stores nearby. Overall, this is a solid choice with great value and convenience.

The location is absolutely fantastic—right next to the MTR station, making it super easy to get to Victoria Park and K11 just a short walk away. That said, during my recent visit, I noticed a slight odor in the bathroom, and the drainage seemed sluggish. I managed to clear out some hair from the drain, but water still didn’t flow properly. This meant I had to wash step by step—first wetting my hair, turning off the water, lathering, then turning it back on to rinse. It wasn’t ideal, especially after a long day. Unfortunately, I returned late at night and the front desk was unattended, so I couldn’t report it in person. I hope the team can look into checking the plumbing regularly to avoid this issue for future guests. Despite that small hiccup, I’d still recommend this place—it’s well-located and offers great value.
