Vessel Inn Sakae Station
Staying at Vessel Inn Sakae Station was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a 1-minute walk from the Sakae subway station (exit through the East Gate), making transfers to the airport bus or exploring the nearby Sakae and Kinshicho shopping areas incredibly convenient. The room may be compact, but it's thoughtfully designed with excellent space utilization. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—so I slept like a baby. A nice touch was the complimentary welcome coffee and ice pops, which added a little joy to my arrival. Breakfast was a highlight: a generous buffet offering both Japanese and Western options. Freshly baked bread, warm miso soup, and freshly squeezed juice—all changed daily, so nothing ever felt repetitive. Staff were attentive and genuinely warm, and they even provided a small bottle of mineral water upon check-in. Clean, comfortable, and outstanding value for money—perfect for both business trips and sightseeing. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Nagoya!
Gold Stay Nagoya OSU
Stayed here from October 28th to 30th, 2025, and had a fantastic experience. The front desk staff spoke fluent Chinese, which made communication super easy—especially helpful for international travelers. They also offered luggage storage, and even promised to bring our bags up once check-in time arrived. That meant we could just walk in directly upon returning in the evening—such a thoughtful touch! We booked the ocean-themed room, which was perfect since we were heading to the aquarium the next day—the vibe matched our trip perfectly. The room itself was well-equipped: induction cooker, fridge, oven, microwave, capsule coffee machine, and even a bathtub. Super convenient for self-catering. Location-wise, it's walking distance to the popular Osu Shopping Street, with FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby—great for snacks and essentials. Overall, great value, excellent service, and a very comfortable stay. Definitely my go-to choice for future visits to Nagoya!

It's super convenient to reach via subway from Nagoya Station, and there are countless great restaurants nearby. I highly recommend a visit to a famous local hitsuji-mushi restaurant—absolutely delicious. Ichiran ramen, Don Quijote, and several department stores are just a short walk away—truly unbeatable for convenience. The highlight has to be the large bath on the 3rd floor. The water is a bit hot, but it’s perfect for unwinding after a long day and really helps relieve stress. While the room amenities aren’t overly extensive, they do include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, and toothbrush—plus the public bath offers cleansing foam, oil, lotion, and emulsion. Sleepwear is provided, so women or slimmer men won’t need to bring their own, though those with larger builds might find them a bit snug. There’s a microwave and fridge in the room, and the Wi-Fi password is conveniently posted right on the TV. I haven’t tried the breakfast buffet yet, but I can confirm there’s zero cigarette smell and daily room cleaning. Water pressure is just right, and every room comes with a bathtub—what more could you want? Overall, an amazing value for money experience!

I appreciated that toiletries, mouthwash, and other essentials were available at the lobby—convenient and eco-friendly. From 3 to 7 PM, they served delicious pastries in the lobby—simple but satisfying. And the 24/7 coffee machine? A lifesaver for late-night travelers. Located near public transit, it’s easy to get around Nagoya. The vibe is modern yet welcoming, and the attention to small details really sets this hotel apart. For a city stay in Japan, this is one of the better options I’ve experienced—great value, great comfort, and a real home-away-from-home feel.

The location is fantastic, the room is clean and quiet, and everything feels well thought out. For such a great price, the value is unbeatable. If you're visiting Nagoya alone, this hotel should be at the top of your list. Definitely coming back next time!

Cleanliness is top-notch throughout the hotel: spotless bathrooms, crisp linens, and high-quality toiletries that felt luxurious. My favorite part? The 14th-floor communal bath—it’s spacious, clean, and has a soothing, spa-like atmosphere. I loved walking to the station daily, especially when traveling light—just a quick stroll turned into a little exploration of local shops and snacks along the way. On my last day, I took a taxi to the airport, which cost around ¥1,000, but honestly, given how central the location is, it’s totally worth it. This place offers comfort, convenience, and excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Nagoya.
