Not sure what was going on there. Still, this one minor issue didn’t take away from the great vibe. Love Anantara for everything else—it’s just that sometimes the enthusiasm crosses the line.

He’s genuinely warm and helpful—he offered travel tips, arranged airport transfers, and even helped with private car bookings. Honestly, we arrived at 2 PM on a Saturday, waited 20 minutes for a Grab, and ended up paying more than the owner’s transfer quote, including tolls—definitely not worth it! We were a family of four (two adults, two kids) and stayed in a Japanese-style tatami room—cozy, thoughtfully designed, and impeccably clean. The bedding was comfortable, rooms were tidied daily, and the elevator made carrying luggage much easier. Overall, the facilities are well-maintained and the value for money is outstanding. This isn’t just a good hotel—it’s a standout experience. I’d definitely come back here next time I visit Bangkok.

It's hard to believe such a place made it onto any booking platform, especially given the lack of basic hygiene standards.
