I came to Sapporo for a university exam, and with weekend rates being sky-high, I was glad I found this gem after seeing the high ratings. I drove here—parking only costs 500 yen, which is incredibly affordable, but you do need to book in advance. I stayed in a tatami room, and honestly, it was perfect: small TV, air purifier, clothes hanger, compact table and chair—all thoughtfully placed. I’ve never stayed in a hotel or hostel this clean before—it felt so warm and full of character, with little Conan figurines scattered around the place. The neighborhood is residential, quiet, and peaceful—ideal for focusing or resting. Entry is via keycard, which adds a great sense of security. There are separate bathrooms for men and women, and the female one even had sanitary pads available—such a thoughtful touch! Everything you’d need: hair curler, blow dryer, makeup remover, toner, moisturizer—no need to pack anything extra. Towels, toothbrush, comb—all stored neatly in a shoulder bag inside the room. Common areas are fantastic too: free tea, coffee, and miso soup, plus a good selection of manga books to read. A small oven, water heater, microwave, cutlery, and even a mini kitchen with a medium-sized fridge—perfect for self-catering. When checking out, I got a little surprise gift—a lucky 5-yen coin (go-enge)—so sweet and memorable. I’ll definitely book here again next time I’m in Sapporo for exams. No second thoughts.

The villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen, though knives aren’t provided due to safety reasons. No worries though—just head up to the 3rd floor of the Aeon Mall and check out Daiso; you can pick up quality kitchen knives and scissors for under ¥100. Super affordable and practical. Overall, this place offers comfort, convenience, and great value—definitely my top choice for future trips to Sapporo!
