It's a four-story property with plenty of room, easily accommodating about 10 guests comfortably, making it ideal for group stays. The entire space is clean, well-maintained, and has a lovely, cozy vibe. I’d definitely stay here again—and not just once, but multiple times! Just make sure to prepare your check-in details ahead of time, similar to how you’d do on other platforms, to avoid any last-minute surprises. Overall, an outstanding experience from start to finish. This was my first stay at Citadines Namba Osaka, and I was genuinely impressed. The hotel is housed in the former Takashimaya department store, blending classic Japanese architecture with modern, well-maintained interiors. The building has a charming old-world feel from the outside, but inside, everything feels fresh and spotless. I booked a family room, and it came fully equipped with a fridge, washing machine, stove, and kitchenware—perfect for self-catering, especially when traveling with kids. Location-wise, it's unbeatable: just an 8-minute walk from Namba Station, and Black Gate Market is literally around the corner. Everything you need—from local street food to shopping—is within easy reach. The staff were warm and welcoming, with excellent English skills, making the whole experience feel personal and comfortable. One small note: the kids' playroom is quite compact—about 20 sqm—so it can only comfortably fit three or four young children at a time. It would be great if it could be expanded. Also, breakfast options are fairly basic, nothing special. Still, considering the convenience, cleanliness, and overall value, this hotel stands out. If I’m back in Osaka, this will definitely be my top choice again.

I stumbled upon this hotel while searching for a good deal, and ended up booking a two-bedroom suite in Osaka for just $100—what an amazing value. I’d read some reviews warning about the neighborhood being sketchy with occasional drunk locals (I saw one during my stay), but since it was only a 3-minute walk to the subway station, it wasn’t a major concern—especially as a solo female traveler. The front desk staff were warm and helpful, even handing me a handmade wooden token as a little gift—a nice personal touch. My room was 601, a spacious two-bedroom suite with six beds (yes, really!), though there’s just one shared bathroom and shower. There’s a washing machine in the room, but you’ll need to bring your own detergent. Kitchen amenities—including dishes, utensils, and cookware—were all provided free of charge, which made self-catering super convenient. Overall, this was a great find. If you're looking for comfort, location, and value in Osaka, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try.
