Asakusa View Hotel Annex Rokku

Staying at Asakusa View Hotel Annex Rokku was a real highlight of my trip to Tokyo. Even though it’s a short walk from the nearest subway station and the station itself has quite a few stairs—something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with luggage—the hotel offers incredible value for money. It's perfectly located in a lively yet peaceful area, surrounded by convenience stores, restaurants, and cozy izakayas—perfect for dinner or late-night snacks. The best part? Free drinks and light snacks are served on the 10th floor from afternoon to evening, where you can enjoy a drink while soaking in the stunning views of the Tokyo Skytree at night. It’s a small but thoughtful touch that makes your stay feel extra special. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a great vibe in central Tokyo.

Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International

Staying at Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International was an absolute delight. The room was significantly larger than other hotels I've stayed in, offering a spacious and comfortable feel throughout. Cleanliness was excellent—every corner felt fresh and well-maintained. Location-wise, it's incredibly convenient: just a 10-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple, with plenty of local shops, cafes, and restaurants right on the hotel’s doorstep. I didn’t need to go far for food or essentials—everything I needed was literally steps away. The blend of comfort, cleanliness, and unbeatable location makes this hotel a top choice. I’d definitely come back here on my next trip to Tokyo. Highly recommended!

THE GATE HOTEL KAMINARIMON by HULIC

Staying at THE GATE HOTEL KAMINARIMON by HULIC was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—right next to Senso-ji Temple and Asakusa's famous Kaminarimon Gate, with a vibrant street scene full of local shops and eateries just outside the door. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning that kept things cool and quiet. Best part? The view from the window—perfect shots of Tokyo Skytree and the iconic Thunder Gate. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised by how well-insulated the rooms were—no noise from the street or neighboring rooms, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. This hotel offers incredible value for the price, and I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Tokyo.

Asakusa Kaede

Staying at Asakusa Kaede was a fantastic experience overall. The location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple, with countless restaurants and cafes surrounding the area. Everything you'd want for a great evening out is right outside the door. It's also just a short walk from the nearest subway station, making it super easy to get around Tokyo. I reached Skytree in about 15 minutes on foot, which is perfect if you're planning to explore nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The only minor issue was that there was no toothbrush upon arrival, but staff were quick to provide one—no hassle at all. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Asakusa.

MONday Apart Premium Asakusa

Staying at MONday Apart Premium Asakusa was a delightful experience from start to finish. The room is surprisingly spacious—more than enough for a family of three—and having a private balcony made the stay even more special. I loved sipping morning coffee while enjoying the quiet view of the neighborhood. Everything you need for self-catering is provided, so cooking meals at home was easy and cost-effective. Cleanliness is top-notch; no corner was overlooked. The only minor downside? It’s a short walk from the nearest subway station, but honestly, that just added charm. Walking around the local streets felt like exploring a real Tokyo residential area—small shops, cozy cafes, and authentic vibes everywhere. It’s not just a hotel; it’s a genuine slice of city life. Perfect for travelers who want comfort, convenience, and a bit of adventure all in one.

Other Space Asakusa

Staying at Other Space Asakusa was an absolute highlight of my trip to Tokyo. The location is unbeatable—just a quick walk across the street and you're right in front of Senso-ji Temple. The common areas are spacious and well-designed, perfect for working or simply relaxing with a good book. Breakfast was a real treat—fresh, varied daily options that kept things exciting. My room had a direct view of Senso-ji, and the rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the Tokyo Skytree, especially beautiful at sunset. The overall vibe is modern, clean, and welcoming. Staff were incredibly friendly—housekeeping even greeted us with a smile and a thank you. There’s also a language exchange event hosted in the dining area (paid), which was a fun way to meet other travelers. The only minor issue was that the duvet felt slightly damp, possibly due to humidity, but it didn’t detract much from the excellent experience. Overall, this place offers great value, comfort, and charm. I’d definitely come back.

Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo Kinshicho

Staying at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo Kinshicho was a great experience overall. The room is compact but well-designed, making it feel surprisingly comfortable despite the size. The bathroom is spacious enough for one person, and everything is clean and functional. Check-in was quick and smooth—no long queues, just friendly staff who made the process easy. Breakfast wasn’t overly elaborate, but it was fresh, satisfying, and offered good value considering the price. There are plenty of small amenities available on the ground floor for self-service, like toothbrushes and slippers, though I found the toothbrush a bit too stiff—brought my own just in case. The location is fantastic: walking distance to shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, plus the station is right outside. You can even reach Narita Airport directly by train for just 1,340 yen—super convenient and budget-friendly. If you're looking for a no-frills, reliable hotel with excellent transport links and a cozy vibe, this place is definitely worth a try.

Keisei Richmond Hotel Tokyo Kinshicho

The hotel facilities are excellent, especially having a laundry room—perfect for travelers who need to freshen up their clothes during a trip. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. I particularly appreciated the unique selection of tea bags available in the lobby—such a thoughtful touch that made my stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast is decent overall, though the menu stays quite consistent across days. After staying four nights, I noticed the same few options each morning, so adding more variety would make it even better. That said, I saw many guests like me staying two to three nights, and I ended up extending to four—it’s clear this place has strong appeal. With its great value, convenient location, and friendly atmosphere, I’d definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Tokyo.

The Moto Hotel Asakusa

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I’m just as impressed as the first. The rooms are brand new, spotlessly clean, and incredibly well-maintained—every corner feels fresh and thoughtfully designed. I brought a friend along this time, and they were equally thrilled; they said it’s definitely on their list for next time in Tokyo. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—super close to Asakusa Station, making it easy to explore the city by train. Walk out the door and you’re right in the heart of the action: great food, local shops, and historic sights like Senso-ji Temple are all within walking distance. Yet, once inside, it’s peaceful and relaxing. It’s rare to find such comfort, cleanliness, and convenience in one place. If you're visiting Tokyo, this hotel should be your top pick. Highly recommended!

Urbain Tokyo Ueno Kitasenju

Staying at this hotel in the residential area of Tokyo offers incredible value without sacrificing convenience. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shopping malls nearby—yet it’s surprisingly quiet and free from tourist crowds. The peaceful atmosphere makes it a great retreat, especially with a major river just steps away where you can enjoy a morning jog. The hotel is only a 6-minute walk from the train station, making commuting effortless. The room size is perfect for solo travelers—clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Staff are friendly, helpful, and speak excellent English, which made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, this is a hidden gem with outstanding quality and affordability.

Hibikiya

Staying at Hibikiya in Asakusa was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming—genuinely made us feel at home. I've stayed in many hotels across Tokyo, but this homestay completely redefined my expectations. For the price, you'd barely get a 20 sqm room in a hotel, often cramped with no space to unpack, but here we had around 70 sqm of open, airy space—so much more than I expected. The entire place is beautifully designed with traditional Japanese tatami flooring, clean and fresh without that typical hotel carpet smell. Everything you’d need is included: washing machine, TV, air conditioning, underfloor heating, kettle, microwave, fridge, and even a full set of kitchenware. It felt like staying in a real home, not just a room. Location-wise, it’s a bit far from the nearest subway station, but if your main goal is visiting Senso-ji Temple, it’s actually ideal—just a short walk away, surrounded by quiet streets. One thing I was worried about—Japanese buildings are usually noisy—but here, it was surprisingly peaceful, especially at night. No street sounds, no creaking floors, just pure serenity. Nearby, you’ve got Skytree and the beautiful Sumida Ward, where you can explore the legacy of Hokusai. If you want authenticity, tranquility, and a true taste of local life in Tokyo, this place delivers on every level. Highly recommend for anyone looking to step off the tourist trail and enjoy a genuine, comfortable stay.

Tosei Hotel Cocone Asakusa Kuramae

This hotel is brand new and spotlessly clean—my family of three couldn’t have been happier with our stay! The room was spacious, tidy, and had a lovely private bathtub for soaking, plus an in-room coffee machine that made morning brews super convenient. What really stood out was the convenience of having Family Mark right downstairs, with a full AEON supermarket nearby—perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials without needing to go far. I absolutely recommend trying their chocolate pancake with strawberry ice cream at the on-site dessert shop—it’s rich, delicious, and totally worth it. Getting to Asakusa is incredibly easy—just a short subway ride away, making it ideal for sightseeing. With its great location, modern amenities, and excellent value for money, this place is a top pick. I’d definitely come back here on my next trip to Tokyo!
