Fidan Spa Hotel Sochi
We stayed here at the end of the season, almost giving up on a vacation, but when my husband got an unexpected week off, we decided to take a spontaneous trip to Sochi. We chose this hotel mainly for its location, and to our surprise, direct booking was available through the platform—just needed to log in via T-ID banking service to secure our dates. Unfortunately, only rooms with faux windows were available, but we shrugged it off and made the right call. It didn’t affect us at all since we only used the room for sleeping. The best part? We saved a lot on accommodation without sacrificing comfort. The room came fully equipped: bathrobes, slippers, powerful hairdryer—everything we needed. Furniture looked nearly new, and the overall ambiance felt fresh and well-maintained. Breakfast was outstanding—huge portions, delicious, and served with genuine hospitality. Staff went above and beyond; anything we asked for, they happily provided. The location couldn’t be better. We took taxis only once or twice—we could walk to almost every attraction. Beach was just a 10-minute stroll away, and right nearby were the Winter Theatre, Ostrovsky Museum, and the bustling Kurortny Prospekt packed with cafes and restaurants. We visited the spa twice, and the stone therapy was absolutely incredible—felt like I’d been reborn after each session. Prices were very reasonable, making it a real gem. Definitely coming back.
Talisman Hotel
We stayed at this hotel in May 2022 with my family of three, and the experience was truly excellent. The room was spacious—easily comfortable for four people—and the soundproofing was impressive; we didn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms at all, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. The bathroom was well-equipped with everything we needed: towels, bathrobes, shampoo, soap, shower gel, and even slippers—all provided. Daily housekeeping kept the space clean and fresh throughout our stay. We chose a room facing the courtyard, so we woke up every morning to the cheerful sounds of birds singing—a lovely, natural wake-up call. I can’t speak for rooms facing the street, as we didn’t stay in one, but overall, the location was perfect for us. Since it was early May, the sea wasn’t warm enough for swimming, so being a bit further from the beach wasn’t an issue. We relied on taxis for transportation, and they arrived almost instantly—very convenient. Right next door, there’s a residential complex with a sauna, hammam, and indoor pool, all within walking distance. It’s a great bonus for relaxation after a long day. The food served was solid—not fancy, but satisfying and well-prepared. Overall, the value for money was outstanding, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for comfort, quiet, and convenience.
Gold Wings
Staying at Gold Wings was an absolute delight. The apartment felt more luxurious than a typical 4-star hotel—complete with bathrobes, slippers, full toiletries, a hairdryer, and even bath salts. But the real highlight? The bathtub tucked right beside the panoramic window in the bedroom. Soaking in warm water while gazing at the stunning view was pure bliss. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, with crisp white linens and soft, plush robes that made you want to stay in bed all day. The kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, kettle, coffee machine, dishes, glasses, and even a corkscrew—perfect for a cozy evening in. The interior design was modern and stylish, creating a welcoming and elegant atmosphere. Every detail was thoughtfully considered. I’d absolutely come back here again. Sunrise Guest House
We came to Sochi for our spring break and spent a while searching for a room that could comfortably accommodate two kids at a reasonable price. The family room was perfect! It’s ideal for children under 10—slightly tight if they’re older, but still very functional. What stood out was the private fenced area with security cameras—great peace of mind while the kids played safely outdoors. I loved relaxing with a coffee on the covered green terrace, just enjoying the quiet atmosphere. The location is super close to the beach, which is a big plus—even though we couldn’t swim in April, we already know exactly where we’ll stay next time. The whole experience was excellent, and I highly recommend Sunrise Guest House for families looking for comfort, safety, and great value.
Simple Hotel
We stayed at this charming little hotel in central Sochi during late July 2023, and it exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect—just a 15-minute walk to the beach and within easy reach of major tourist spots, the sea port, and the Dendrarium. Nestled inside a residential building with only five rooms, the hotel feels intimate and cozy. While there's no private parking, there’s a huge free parking lot right next door with plenty of spaces—no hassle at all when arriving with a car. Our standard double room was beautifully renovated: sleek lighting with multiple settings, convenient switches, air conditioning, a fridge, and a large smart TV with Android TV (YouTube and more). The bathroom featured a modern hygienic shower and a well-designed shower stall with excellent plumbing. One small suggestion: adding a microwave would be a great upgrade, as the snack area has a commercial coffee machine but no microwave for heating food. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. We’d definitely stay here again.
Rest-Matsesta Hotel
This hotel is absolutely perfect—clean, quiet, and stunningly beautiful. A huge thank you to the entire staff and even to the little dog Luky! We arrived from Sochi Airport by the Sapsan train in the morning and called the hotel for directions—within minutes, a private shuttle with driver Yuri picked us up (special thanks to him for all our rides!). We were checked in to our spacious 3-bedroom luxury suite by 9:30 AM, and it was spotless—every corner gleamed. The front desk agent Anastasia was incredibly warm and efficient, responding instantly to every request (huge appreciation!). Though we never saw the housekeeping team, everything sparkled with cleanliness—the towels were crisp white and always fresh. All plumbing worked perfectly, the renovations looked great, the curtains were stylish, and the mattresses and pillows? Pure comfort—truly bomb. Bathrobes and slippers were top quality too. The breakfast was diverse and delicious, especially the lazy dumplings—so good we ordered them twice! The private beach is fantastic—plenty of loungers and umbrellas, no strangers, always clean. We walked to the beach through the Green Grove—a nice little walk with great views and fresh air. Nature here is breathtaking, and the silence is truly peaceful. This place exceeded all expectations. We’re definitely coming back!
Guest House Na Gagrinskoy
This is our third year staying at Guest House Na Gagrinskoy, and we have no intention of switching hotels. The place is incredibly quiet, cozy, and the service is outstanding. A big thank you to Olga Borisovna, Tatyana, and Kate for their warm attention and care throughout our stay. We were here from June 7th to 18th, 2024, and had a truly relaxing and memorable vacation. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and every detail feels thoughtfully taken care of. We’ll definitely be back next year—this guest house has become our little retreat in Sochi, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, home-like experience.
Vekar Guest House
We stayed at Vekar Guest House with my daughter, and it was a perfect choice for our quiet getaway. After carefully considering several options, we wanted something away from big hotels—no crowds, no noisy streets, and no late-night entertainment right outside the window—but still wanted a pool since swimming in the sea isn’t always comfortable in September. The Vekar Guest House met all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and relaxed. Host Elena was incredibly helpful—she reached out before our arrival and gave us clear directions to the city center and nearby dining spots. The room was spotless, with fresh linens and towels, and daily cleaning made everything feel fresh. The pool is clean, well-maintained, and deep enough for comfortable swimming. The kitchenette is fully equipped with all essentials—pots, pans, appliances—perfect for preparing meals. We’re leaving tomorrow with heartfelt gratitude. No photos attached, but what’s online is completely accurate. If you’re looking for a peaceful, homey stay with genuine hospitality, this place is a must-try.
Guest House AKS
We stayed at Guest House AKS from December 28th to January 3rd with my husband, and the experience was absolutely perfect. While the property requires climbing stairs to reach the rooms—something we anticipated when choosing it—this wasn’t an issue for us as we’re fairly active. That said, travelers with mobility concerns or young children might find the uphill walk back from the beach a bit challenging (it’s downhill to the sea, but uphill on the way back). Fortunately, the area is well-paved with sidewalks and asphalt throughout. The guesthouse is surrounded by similar small accommodations, packed closely together, which gives it a cozy neighborhood feel. We were lucky to visit during the off-season—there weren’t many guests around—but I can imagine it gets quite crowded in summer. There’s no large courtyard or shared outdoor space, just a tiny backyard with a barbecue area, some greenery, and a small front-facing pool. Be prepared: there are lots of stairs—especially if you have energetic kids, who’ll likely feel cramped. We booked a triple room on the third floor, and it was fantastic—spacious, bright, with a huge comfortable bed and stunning views from the balcony. There were minor signs of wear and tear from past guests, but nothing major. Everything was clean: fresh linens, towels, reliable water pressure, and a quiet refrigerator that didn’t disturb sleep. The staff were incredibly attentive—cleaning almost daily. Even more impressive? The pool was heated and open exclusively for us (we suspect other guests didn’t even know it was possible!). No kitchen facilities, but each floor has a microwave for reheating food, and our room came with a kettle—very convenient. Located just steps away from a mini-market, a Pятерочка, a small local market, a Sberbank branch, post office, and plenty of street vendors, fast food spots, and seaside cafés and restaurants. It takes about 15–20 minutes to walk down to the beach at a relaxed pace—perfectly doable. Overall, this place is ideal for active, healthy travelers looking for a peaceful, authentic stay during the shoulder season. Great value, excellent service, and a real gem tucked away in Sochi.
U Bocharova Ruchya
We just returned from a week-long trip and couldn’t be happier with our stay at U Bocharova Ruchya. We specifically wanted to stay in central Sochi—affordable yet comfortable—and this hotel exceeded all expectations. Nestled in a scenic spot, most rooms offer stunning views of the mountains and coastline from their balconies. The passing trains didn’t bother us at all, which was a big relief. Our third-floor room was spacious, even included an extra bed, making it perfect for our group. All toiletries were provided, and breakfast was generous enough for our needs—whether enjoyed indoors or out on the large terrace. The hotel is built across multiple levels, which adds character but does mean some walking between floors. One highlight? The pool is accessible almost anytime, which came in handy after late-night arrivals from excursions to Krasnaya Polyana and the Olympic Park. Free beach towels are also available. The municipal beach “Albatros” is easily reachable via shuttle transfer—though walking up from there can be tough due to the steep incline. Huge thanks to driver Sergey—he was incredibly attentive and helpful. The staff throughout the property felt warm and welcoming, like family. Getting around town is simple: catch buses 4 or 7 (about 15 minutes to the port or Riviera Park). If you walk to Vinogradnaya Street, more bus and minibus options open up. Most evenings we dined at City Lounge—great food, cozy vibe, highly recommended. Overall, this place feels like a hidden gem in Sochi. A truly memorable stay.
Antika Hotel
Staying at Antika Hotel was an absolute highlight of my trip to Sochi. The room was spotless and meticulously cleaned every day, with fresh shampoo and body wash replenished regularly—such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was included and varied daily, featuring a delicious milk porridge that I couldn’t get enough of, plus tasty bacon, sausages, and egg pancakes. The location on the hillside is perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet just a 15-minute taxi ride from downtown. Best of all? The panoramic view of Sochi’s night skyline from the window was breathtaking. The owner is incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. This place offers incredible value for money—no regrets, no downsides. If you're visiting Sochi, this hotel should be at the top of your list.
Park Gorkogo Apart-Hotel
I absolutely loved my stay at Park Gorkogo Apart-Hotel in Sochi! The service was exceptional from the moment I arrived—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable trip. I appreciated how quiet and peaceful the location was, yet still just a short walk or quick transit ride away from the city center and major attractions. The attention to detail and warm hospitality made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sochi—it’s a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and great value. I’ll definitely be coming back.
