The only small note: no welcome fruit this time, possibly due to the season, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The private beach is pristine and just a short walk away, perfect for relaxing or taking a morning stroll. The room itself came with a mini-fridge, ideal for keeping drinks and snacks cold. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully designed—comfortable, well-maintained, and full of little touches that made us feel cared for. Staying at Hotel Grand Karat Sochi was a truly enjoyable experience. Located right by the seaside, the hotel offers stunning views and a refreshing atmosphere. There are plenty of restaurants nearby—perfect for dining out without having to travel far. The staff went above and beyond with their warm and friendly service, always ready to help. Breakfast was satisfying with a good variety of options and decent quality. The only downside was some construction noise from the adjacent site during daytime hours, which could be slightly disruptive. However, this didn’t significantly affect the overall experience. With its prime beachfront location, excellent service, and great value, I’d definitely recommend this hotel. It’s also very convenient for getting around town via public transit.

My husband even joked a few times, 'Why are they so eager? They’re almost too polite!' 😄 Everything was perfect for us. The massage was heavenly, and our daughter’s swimming instructor, Pavel, did an amazing job—he was patient, encouraging, and made every session fun. We left feeling completely refreshed and satisfied. Honestly, if the spa had a jacuzzi or a Turkish bath, this place would be unbeatable. A truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!

This place is truly peaceful and secluded—exactly what I was looking for. The hotel’s design concept is unique: one floor represents fire, another air, and the third earth. We stayed on the air floor (the top level), which offered breathtaking views, a light and airy atmosphere, and smart room technology that made everything so convenient. The spa experience was outstanding—my wife loved it. The pool was warm and perfect for relaxing, floating, or just soaking up the sun in quiet solitude. I’d have loved to explore the water-themed floor too, but it was undergoing renovation, so I’ll definitely check it out next time. In Sochi, it’s rare to find such a calm retreat without noisy kids disrupting the peace—here, you can truly unwind and reconnect with yourself. The restaurant was excellent—the food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Every detail felt intentional and well-executed. 10/10—this is a gem worth returning to.

We stayed here at the end of the season, almost giving up on a vacation, but when my husband got an unexpected week off, we decided to take a spontaneous trip to Sochi. We chose this hotel mainly for its location, and to our surprise, direct booking was available through the platform—just needed to log in via T-ID banking service to secure our dates. Unfortunately, only rooms with faux windows were available, but we shrugged it off and made the right call. It didn’t affect us at all since we only used the room for sleeping. The best part? We saved a lot on accommodation without sacrificing comfort. The room came fully equipped: bathrobes, slippers, powerful hairdryer—everything we needed. Furniture looked nearly new, and the overall ambiance felt fresh and well-maintained. Breakfast was outstanding—huge portions, delicious, and served with genuine hospitality. Staff went above and beyond; anything we asked for, they happily provided. The location couldn’t be better. We took taxis only once or twice—we could walk to almost every attraction. Beach was just a 10-minute stroll away, and right nearby were the Winter Theatre, Ostrovsky Museum, and the bustling Kurortny Prospekt packed with cafes and restaurants. We visited the spa twice, and the stone therapy was absolutely incredible—felt like I’d been reborn after each session. Prices were very reasonable, making it a real gem. Definitely coming back.

We stayed at this hotel in May 2022 with my family of three, and the experience was truly excellent. Daily housekeeping kept the space clean and fresh throughout our stay. We chose a room facing the courtyard, so we woke up every morning to the cheerful sounds of birds singing—a lovely, natural wake-up call. I can’t speak for rooms facing the street, as we didn’t stay in one, but overall, the location was perfect for us. Since it was early May, the sea wasn’t warm enough for swimming, so being a bit further from the beach wasn’t an issue. We relied on taxis for transportation, and they arrived almost instantly—very convenient. Right next door, there’s a residential complex with a sauna, hammam, and indoor pool, all within walking distance. It’s a great bonus for relaxation after a long day. The food served was solid—not fancy, but satisfying and well-prepared. Overall, the value for money was outstanding, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for comfort, quiet, and convenience.

The location is incredibly convenient: right on the corner of a quiet street with several banks nearby for currency exchange, which was super helpful for first-time visitors like me. On the ground floor, there’s a cozy restaurant perfect for a casual meal without having to go far. Across the street, you’ll find a small park and a convenience store—ideal for snacks or essentials. Plus, the cruise port is just under a 2-kilometer walk away, making day trips by boat super easy. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and staff are friendly and attentive. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and accessibility. If you’re looking for a hassle-free, centrally located base in Sochi, this place delivers everything and more. Highly recommend!

This hotel is a real gem if you're looking for great value without the premium price tag. It's not Turkey, and honestly, it doesn't need to be—especially when you consider how much cheaper it is. The food is delicious, though there can be some lines during peak times, but it’s totally worth the wait. The sea is clean, the beach is well-maintained, so no worries about health concerns like norovirus. Being right on the first line means easy access to facilities, including a restroom right by the pool. Daily activities were a highlight: morning workouts, mini-bowling, darts, and evening disco or karaoke nights kept things lively and fun. The rooms have been recently renovated and are cleaned every day—feels fresh and modern. On the ground floor, you can grab tasty oxygen-infused tea cocktails for an extra fee—super unique and refreshing! The thermal pool is absolutely amazing; warm, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding. There are umbrellas and plenty of fun inflatables for kids too. Plus, water dispensers are available in the dining area and lobby—a small thing, but something I appreciated, especially since I’ve stayed in other Abkhazia hotels where this wasn’t standard. And don’t miss the on-site restaurant—great for a cozy evening drink, coffee, or even a quiet smoke with a shisha. Overall, this place may not scream luxury, but it delivers comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality in spades.

Absolutely stunning hotel—every detail was thoughtfully considered. The staff at reception were incredibly attentive and friendly, making check-in a breeze. The interior design is elegant and modern, with a luxurious touch that immediately sets the tone. My room had a gorgeous balcony with fantastic views—perfect for morning coffee or just relaxing. Inside, everything you’d need was provided: a kettle, hairdryer, mini toiletries, a safe, ample closet space, cozy armchairs, stylish lamps, a TV, and most importantly, an air conditioner with built-in humidification. That feature made such a difference in comfort during the warm weather—it kept the air just right without drying out. I only stayed one night for work, but it truly felt like a retreat. I’ll definitely be back—this is now my go-to choice for future stays in Sochi.

Check-in was incredibly fast—literally took just five minutes thanks to the efficient front desk team. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and amenities exceeded expectations. I stayed in Sochi in April and chose Villa Anna for my getaway. The rooms are spacious and comfortable—I stayed in two different ones during my two-week visit. The hotel is nestled in a quiet, green setting, just a 15-minute walk from the beach—perfect for a relaxed seaside escape. What really stood out was that I received partial refunds twice because I had to leave earlier than planned. I was told this might not be possible during peak season, but it was still a pleasant surprise. Overall, my stay was flawless—comfortable, friendly, and well-located. Highly recommend this gem!
Pollyanna Villa Mini-Hotel
We're back again in Sochi with our little Yorkie, Duke, and once more chose Pollyanna Villa Mini-Hotel—our favorite spot for a relaxed getaway. The location is perfect: just 100 meters from the lovely Zarya Beach, easy to reach by public transport. The rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed, making the most of every inch. The staff are attentive and responsive—any request or suggestion is handled quickly and warmly. Special thanks to Elena and Anna, who always go above and beyond with their friendly service. The café has a stylish vibe, and the food tastes great overall. However, the menu has changed since 2024—some dishes are missing, and local Caucasian cuisine isn’t as well represented as before. Breakfast offers a buffet option, which we appreciate, plus you can order your favorite dish à la carte. Still, there’s room for improvement—more seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh seafood, and dessert variety would be welcome. That said, the overall experience is excellent, especially with pets allowed. If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming stay with great service and a prime beachfront spot, this hotel is a top recommendation.
