Staying at this apartment-hotel was a delightful surprise! Located just steps from the beach, the sound of waves at night is incredibly soothing—especially when the wind picks up and the ocean roars gently in the background. Perfect for families, the layout is practical and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a breeze. I appreciated not having to rely on restaurants every meal. The area is lively but not overwhelming, with plenty of nearby accommodations and quiet bars for evening drinks. Across the street is a restaurant called pro-xuhkyli, which serves buns similar to Chinese-style ones—tasty and worth trying! With its unbeatable location, peaceful atmosphere, and great value, this place easily earns a 10/10. I’d definitely come back.
Sunrise Guest House
We came to Sochi for our spring break and spent a while searching for a room that could comfortably accommodate two kids at a reasonable price. The family room was perfect! It’s ideal for children under 10—slightly tight if they’re older, but still very functional. What stood out was the private fenced area with security cameras—great peace of mind while the kids played safely outdoors. I loved relaxing with a coffee on the covered green terrace, just enjoying the quiet atmosphere. The location is super close to the beach, which is a big plus—even though we couldn’t swim in April, we already know exactly where we’ll stay next time. Vekar Guest House
We stayed at Vekar Guest House with my daughter, and it was a perfect choice for our quiet getaway. After carefully considering several options, we wanted something away from big hotels—no crowds, no noisy streets, and no late-night entertainment right outside the window—but still wanted a pool since swimming in the sea isn’t always comfortable in September. The Vekar Guest House met all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and relaxed. Host Elena was incredibly helpful—she reached out before our arrival and gave us clear directions to the city center and nearby dining spots. The room was spotless, with fresh linens and towels, and daily cleaning made everything feel fresh. The pool is clean, well-maintained, and deep enough for comfortable swimming. The kitchenette is fully equipped with all essentials—pots, pans, appliances—perfect for preparing meals. We’re leaving tomorrow with heartfelt gratitude. No photos attached, but what’s online is completely accurate. If you’re looking for a peaceful, homey stay with genuine hospitality, this place is a must-try.
Matsesta Guest House
We spent a week here with our family in April, and it was absolutely perfect. The views of the mountain were breathtaking, the air was crisp and fresh, and the sound of birds singing made every morning feel peaceful. It’s wonderfully quiet—no crowds at all. Our host, Elvira, was incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. For day trips and excursions, we took the train (the 'Lасточка' service), which stops nearby, or used taxis—Maxim being our go-to for affordable rides. The guest house has a fully equipped kitchen, a traditional wood-fired sauna with a small indoor pool, and a beautifully maintained garden. Coming back from exploring downtown Sochi to this serene retreat felt like stepping into a different world. The family room was spacious, comfortable, and well-furnished with everything we needed. Our large window opened directly onto a little garden that was already blooming with flowers—such a lovely touch. We’d highly recommend Matsesta Guest House for a relaxing getaway, no matter the season.
Pollyanna Villa Mini-Hotel
We're back again in Sochi with our little Yorkie, Duke, and once more chose Pollyanna Villa Mini-Hotel—our favorite spot for a relaxed getaway. The location is perfect: just 100 meters from the lovely Zarya Beach, easy to reach by public transport. The rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed, making the most of every inch. The staff are attentive and responsive—any request or suggestion is handled quickly and warmly. Special thanks to Elena and Anna, who always go above and beyond with their friendly service. The café has a stylish vibe, and the food tastes great overall. However, the menu has changed since 2024—some dishes are missing, and local Caucasian cuisine isn’t as well represented as before. Breakfast offers a buffet option, which we appreciate, plus you can order your favorite dish à la carte. Still, there’s room for improvement—more seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh seafood, and dessert variety would be welcome. That said, the overall experience is excellent, especially with pets allowed. If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming stay with great service and a prime beachfront spot, this hotel is a top recommendation.
Rose Del Mare Apartments
Staying at Rose Del Mare Apartments was an absolute delight. Located right in the heart of Sochi, it’s incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the beach, train station, and city park. The apartment is clean, cozy, and surprisingly quiet for such a central location. What really stood out? The mattress—hands down one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, even after traveling through multiple countries. It felt like sleeping on clouds. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: cookware, stove, refrigerator, and microwave—perfect for preparing meals without stepping outside. The combination of location, comfort, and value made this stay unforgettable. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family.
Apart-Otel Hiloft Hotel
Staying right on the beach makes this place a real gem—walking out your door and seeing the sea is such a treat. The location is unbeatable, and it’s super convenient for getting around Sochi by public transit. The property has been recently renovated, and everything feels clean and fresh. They provide towels, and the kitchen is fully equipped with essentials—including a coffee machine where you can grab a free cup anytime. I especially loved having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean; it was such a peaceful way to start the day. For the price, this is one of the best value options in the area. That said, the room for two people is quite cramped—basically just a bed taking up most of the space. There’s no shelf or storage for small items like toiletries or phones, and there are no hooks for hanging clothes. Still, it works if you’re only staying one night. A few downsides: soundproofing isn’t great, so if you open the window, traffic noise from the road comes through loud and clear. Also, the shower head has no holder—so you have to hold it in one hand while washing, which is awkward. Check-in took longer than expected because staff were busy checking in another guest, going through paperwork, taking deposits, and even escorting them to their apartment before we could proceed. After a long journey, that delay felt exhausting. And the worst part? Check-out was even worse. I handed back my key and just wanted to grab a quick complimentary coffee before heading out—only to be told firmly, "You’ve already checked out! You can’t use the facilities now." Even the restroom was off-limits. While technically correct, this kind of rigid attitude completely ruined the experience. I’ve never encountered such a strict policy at any hotel or hostel before. It’s disappointing when a great location and good service are overshadowed by poor guest experience at the end.

The plumbing could use some upgrading; there were a few leaks, but overall the room stayed warm and comfortable. Best part? It’s just a 4-minute walk to the beach—ideal for morning strolls or sunset views. There’s also a kitchen on the ground floor, which was great for preparing simple meals. I’ll definitely keep this place in mind for future trips to Sochi. A solid choice if you’re looking for value, comfort, and convenience.

Just a short walk away is a fantastic restaurant called «Baran Rapant»—the food was delicious, the service friendly, and the atmosphere really inviting. Staying at Metropol Apartments for the second time was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short 10-minute walk to the beach and close to everything downtown Sochi has to offer. Our apartment on the 16th floor had breathtaking views of the Black Sea and the Denar Garden, making every morning and evening truly special. The 17th-floor amenities are impressive: a sparkling pool, a stylish photo zone, and cozy relaxation areas—all with stunning panoramic views. The modern interior is well-designed and fully equipped, offering comfort and convenience throughout. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, making us feel right at home.
