I was completely blown away by how great this hotel is for the price. Located just a short walk from Namba Station and Nihonbashi Station, it's incredibly convenient whether you're heading to Nara or Kansai Airport. I booked a single room but was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a double room—spacious, spotless, and much bigger than expected. The breakfast was excellent too, with a variety of fresh options and a delicious cake that stood out. Honestly, you wouldn't find a stay this good at this rate in any major Chinese city. Super clean, well-located, and fantastic value—definitely going to come back.
Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba
We stayed at Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba with our family during our trip to Osaka, and it was a perfect choice. The hotel is conveniently located near Shinsaibashi, just a 10-minute walk to Nipponbashi, and very close to both Namba and the lively Namba Dori shopping district. There are subway stations on both sides of the hotel—though not directly across the street, they’re still within easy reach for getting around town. One memorable moment? We actually saw a basket of ramen being burned (definitely an unusual sight!). But honestly, the real highlight was the rooftop hot spring. For the price, the quality and view were absolutely unbeatable—this spa experience alone made the stay worth every penny. A fantastic value and a must-visit for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Osaka.

We booked a family room with three single beds, which worked well for our group, though the room itself was a bit on the smaller side. Still, the comfort, cleanliness, and overall value made up for it. I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a central, reliable base in Osaka.

The room was much larger than I expected, and the layout made excellent use of space—every corner felt purposeful and well-designed. Cleanliness was outstanding; after staying for three nights, I even received complimentary room cleaning, which was a nice touch. I absolutely loved the coffee in the room—this was my first time trying a pour-over coffee from a paper filter, and it was fantastic, rich and aromatic. The front desk staff deserves a special mention too—they were incredibly thorough during check-in, explaining all the details clearly despite limited English skills. They also provided a Chinese-language guide, which made things much easier. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Osaka. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the subway station—navigation showed 7 minutes, but it actually took over 10. Still, the overall experience was exceptional, and I really hope I can book the same room next time. Highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, attention to detail, and great value.

Staying at OCEAN Niponbashi East was an absolute delight—truly a delightful surprise, like opening a mystery box. The location is unbeatable: walking distance to Namba City, Dotonbori, Kuromon Ichiba Market, and Shinsaibashi means you're right in the heart of everything. Public transit is super convenient, with stations just steps away. On the ground floor, there’s a local-style convenience store that feels like a neighborhood staple—affordable prices, great quality. A short 8-minute walk brings you to a Life supermarket, which opens late until midnight and often has half-off deals around 9 PM. Plus, two Family Mart locations are within a few minutes’ walk—perfect for last-minute snacks or essentials. Inside the apartment, everything we needed was provided: cookware, dishes, and even a nice round dining table. We had two separate rooms, so my kids and I didn’t interfere with each other, and we even cooked sausages with oil—yes, really! There’s also a well-organized trash disposal room on the ground floor, emptied every other day, keeping the unit spotless throughout our stay. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. If I ever return to Osaka, this will be my first choice again.

As first-time visitors to Japan, we couldn’t have chosen a better base than this hotel in Namba. The spacious rooms offered each of us our own private space to rest, while still having plenty of room to gather and plan our daily adventures without feeling cramped. The property was spotless and comfortable, located just steps away from the vibrant Dotonbori district—meaning there was always something fun happening right outside our door. Our host Yui went above and beyond by providing clear English instructions on how to unlock and enter the room, making everything smooth and stress-free. From the location to the hospitality, every detail felt thoughtfully considered. We highly recommend this stay and would definitely book again if we return to Osaka.
