A staff member seemed disengaged and gave a rather indifferent response when I politely approached the front desk to check out. She simply pointed to an automated kiosk without any verbal acknowledgment or smile. While I could’ve handled it myself, it felt unusual for a Japanese hotel where service etiquette is usually much more attentive. It was a bit of a surprise, especially since there were no other guests around at the time. Overall, though, the hotel offers great value, great location, and solid comfort—definitely worth staying at again.
