I had a minor issue when booking the hotel, but when I arrived and checked in, the hotel manager personally stepped in to resolve everything—professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I couldn’t be more grateful! The breakfast buffet was fantastic: wide variety of options, fresh ingredients, and great quality. There are plenty of dining choices nearby too—great for exploring local flavors. The room itself is spacious, well-designed, and offers beautiful views, especially at night when the city lights sparkle outside. It’s conveniently located, just a short walk from public transport links. Overall, an excellent stay with top-tier service and comfort. Definitely my go-to choice for future trips to Nagoya.

Staying at Access by Loisir Hotel Nagoya was an absolute pleasure, especially due to its unbeatable location. From Meitetsu Nagoya Station, you can easily walk toward the bus terminal with seamless access via elevators and escalators—no hassle even if you're carrying luggage. Even if you skip the airport shuttle, getting to the airport via subway is incredibly convenient and fast. Just a heads-up: the NHK Building is closed on Sundays, so I recommend using the nearby alternative elevator entrance—take one elevator up first, then transfer to another going down (the spot is clearly marked in the photo). My room was a twin-bed configuration, which offered plenty of space and felt very clean and well-maintained. Everything was spotless, from the linens to the bathroom. The overall experience was excellent, offering great value for money and a stress-free stay. Highly recommended for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and cleanliness.

Although I couldn’t book a non-smoking room, the smoking room was surprisingly fresh—there was no strong cigarette odor at all. The room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making my two-night stay relaxing and pleasant. The value for money was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’m genuinely sad to hear the hotel will be closing soon—this place had become one of my favorite spots in Nagoya, and I was already planning to visit again. It’s a real loss, but I’ll definitely remember this stay fondly.

I found the perfect suitcase at 3Coins, and stocked up on skincare and medicines at Don Quijote—such a convenient stop. Bonus: the nearby Sanrin Shrine is charming and peaceful, worth a quick visit. And don’t miss Yabashi Pork Cutlet—arrived around 11 AM, got a table just in time, and when we left, there was already a long line forming. That says it all about its popularity. Overall, this hostel delivers incredible value, comfort, and convenience. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a smart choice for travelers who want quality, location, and a touch of local charm.

The cleanliness was also concerning—both the sink and bathroom showed signs of wear, and the carpet looked old and not well maintained. While the location is definitely a strong point, the lack of basic upkeep and accessibility issues significantly affect the overall value. It’s a good spot if you’re on a tight schedule and don’t mind the stairs, but I’d expect better hygiene and facilities for the price.

They even included essentials like makeup remover, facial cleanser, moisturizer, and face cream—truly thoughtful. A little extra touch would be adding a moisturizing cream for winter dryness, but otherwise, it’s already ahead of the game. If needed, they offer hair curlers at the front desk—very handy! One small note: the showerhead nozzles had some black residue buildup, which could use more regular cleaning. But honestly, this tiny detail doesn’t take away from the excellent quality of the stay. Great value, great comfort, and a hotel I’d definitely return to.
