After reading countless reviews on the platform, I finally chose Grand Hotel Emerald and was genuinely impressed. The entire check-in and stay experience was smooth and seamless—exactly what I hoped for. The hotel is spotless, with a fantastic breakfast that can even be delivered to your room if you prefer. Staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, with dedicated personnel helping with luggage, which made the arrival feel effortless. Located just a short walk from the train station, it’s convenient for getting around. While major attractions like the Hermitage, Church of the Savior on Blood, and the Great Bookstore aren’t right next door, walking along Nevsky Prospekt is part of the charm—there are so many little shops and cafes to explore along the way. One unique touch in our room was a signed artwork by a famous figure hanging above the bed—anyone else stayed in that same room? The only minor downside is the lack of in-room Wi-Fi, but honestly, it didn’t bother me at all—my phone hotspot worked perfectly fine. Overall, this place offers excellent value, comfort, and atmosphere. I’d definitely come back.

Its location is perfect—just steps away from the Mariinsky Theatre. After a show, instead of struggling to hail a cab (which was packed at the exit), we walked back in under ten minutes and were able to relax in comfort. There’s also a small convenience store nearby for late-night snacks or essentials. We pre-booked a themed room—definitely go for the superior option. It felt like a royal suite: dreamy ballet-inspired design, soft lighting, and customizable color schemes based on your preference. The bath amenities? Luxurious O&C products—so refreshing! The front desk staff spoke fluent English and even arranged early check-in. Midway through our stay, housekeeping came by and noticed we’d taken extra towels—they quietly added three more sets! No additional fees for three guests—such a thoughtful touch. Oh, and the free 1-hour sauna? We missed it completely—we thought the guided tour was just a walk-through, but when we got dressed and realized what it actually was, we were heartbroken! Still, the breakfast wasn’t overly varied but surprisingly delicious—worth every penny, especially at around $100 per person. Service was lightning-fast—anything we asked for was handled promptly. And since there’s a step at the entrance, they’ll happily help carry luggage up or down. This place feels like a hidden gem. Staying at Renartiss Isaakiy in Saint Petersburg was a fantastic experience. The hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of the city, just steps away from St. Isaac's Cathedral and within walking distance to the Winter Palace. Public transport is super convenient, making it easy to explore everything nearby. The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-maintained—very comfortable for our stay. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English, which made check-in and check-out smooth. One thing to note: there’s a mandatory 350 rubles per person immigration registration fee upon departure, and it must be paid in cash. We recommend bringing some cash just in case. Overall, this hotel offers great value, exceptional location, and a welcoming atmosphere—definitely a top choice for anyone visiting Saint Petersburg.
