It felt like a royal suite: dreamy ballet-inspired design, soft lighting, and customizable color schemes based on your preference. The bath amenities? Luxurious O&C products—so refreshing! The front desk staff spoke fluent English and even arranged early check-in. Midway through our stay, housekeeping came by and noticed we’d taken extra towels—they quietly added three more sets! No additional fees for three guests—such a thoughtful touch. Oh, and the free 1-hour sauna? We missed it completely—we thought the guided tour was just a walk-through, but when we got dressed and realized what it actually was, we were heartbroken! Still, the breakfast wasn’t overly varied but surprisingly delicious—worth every penny, especially at around $100 per person. Service was lightning-fast—anything we asked for was handled promptly. Breakfast was outstanding: generous variety, fresh, and delicious. The bathroom in the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. On my last night, I had to check out by 4:30 AM, so I asked ahead if they could prepare breakfast for me to take along. They actually did! When I arrived at the front desk, they noticed me before I even reached them and rushed over to help with my bags. They even walked me all the way down to the door and helped me get a taxi. I was genuinely moved—this level of care is rare. And the location? Perfect. All major sights—Dmitrievsky Cathedral, Kazan Cathedral, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, and the Winter Palace—are within a 5-10 minute walk. Just a 10-minute drive from the train station, and there’s a supermarket right downstairs, plus countless great dining options nearby. Everything is so convenient. Honestly, this hotel has no flaws—it’s simply perfect. If you’re visiting St. Petersburg, don’t even consider anywhere else. This place exceeds every expectation.

What stood out even more was that there are no room numbers on the doors—just like at home, Anna explained, because you don’t need a sign to know where your own space is. The story behind this guest house is just as charming: the current owner, Александр, bought the building from a businessman and transformed it into a cozy retreat during his time working as a journalist in Europe. The whole place is gently scented with elderflower—a subtle, calming fragrance that lingers in the air. The common areas are beautifully designed with soft sofas and warm lighting, making it feel instantly like home. Rooms were spotless, staff were polite and attentive, and every interaction felt genuine. If we ever return to St. Petersburg, this will be our first choice again—next time, I’m definitely booking the top-floor room. Rumor has it you can see the church domes from up there, and that view alone would make the stay unforgettable.

We stayed overnight at the Aparthotel Vertical in St. Petersburg, booking the Popova apartment for a team of seven athletes plus our coach. The space was more than sufficient for eight people—no crowding at all—and the photos truly matched reality. The soundproofing in the unit is excellent; even with loud music outside, we couldn’t hear anything when the door was closed. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a sink, stove, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, cutlery, and a complete set of dishes—including dessert plates, dinner plates, and a salad bowl—for everyone. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Bed linens were crisp white and fresh, and the pillows and duvet provided great comfort. One small note: the upper-level bedrooms felt a bit warm during the night. Adding an air conditioner or installing a skylight-style window could help improve ventilation. The hotel also features a Belgian restaurant with an impressive selection of Belgian beers. You can access it either from inside the building or directly from the street—a convenient touch. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. In the lobby, right across from the front desk, there’s a large aquarium filled with turtles and other aquatic life. If you’re waiting to check in, it’s nice to just relax and watch the fish swim around. Overall, the stay left a very positive impression. I’d definitely recommend this place to friends and would happily return.

Daily housekeeping in the afternoon was a nice touch, keeping everything fresh and tidy. The bathroom stood out with its modern design and high-quality fixtures; it felt more like a luxury spa than just a standard hotel room. Whether traveling for business or leisure, this place offers unbeatable comfort and value. I’ll definitely be back.

Stayed at Life Space apartment with my daughter for five wonderful days. The location couldn’t be better—just a 5-minute walk to Gor'kovskaya metro station, and the Peter and Paul Fortress is within easy reach on foot. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and green spaces nearby, making daily life super convenient. The apartment was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable with soft lighting, and the mattresses were firm and supportive—perfect for a good night’s sleep. A working air conditioner kept things cool, and the kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, gas stove, cookware, kettle, tea, and coffee—ideal for preparing meals. We had no issues with bathroom availability; there were enough facilities for all guests, and no queues ever formed. The host couple, Roman and Maria, were incredibly welcoming and helpful—they answered every question with warmth and care. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. This place offers excellent value and comfort. I highly recommend it without hesitation.
