The hotel itself is a protected historical landmark—staff even remind guests to be mindful since it’s a heritage building. It’s incredibly convenient—just a short walk to Belarus Station, with easy access to the airport express, metro, and bus lines. Across the street is a small bar market, but honestly, nothing stood out to me. However, nearby are two reliable chains: a popular Russian pancake spot and a well-known restaurant called Brothers, both clean, affordable, and consistently good. Breakfast was outstanding—the only one among our four hotels that offered freshly made pancakes on-site. There was a wide variety: hot dishes, porridge, fresh salads, fruits, drinks, pastries, bread, even stir-fried rice and noodles. Despite having a Chinese palate, we found plenty to enjoy. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and attention to detail. Highly recommended!
