Indoor walkways connect the hotel to the mall on both the first and second floors—extremely convenient for shopping or dining without stepping outside. I noticed many Chinese tour groups exploring the area, which speaks to its central appeal. One minor note: the pool doesn’t allow photography, which was a bit surprising, but overall, the service, cleanliness, and amenities are top-notch. For the location, comfort, and quality, this hotel delivers outstanding value.

Staying at Miyako Hotel Hakata was an absolute delight! The only minor downside is that lower-floor rooms are close to the street, so you might catch some traffic noise or distant ads—but honestly, it’s not loud enough to disrupt sleep. The room clearly underwent a recent renovation and feels fresh and well-maintained throughout. The views from the hilltop are absolutely stunning—every window frames a breathtaking panorama of the city and surrounding landscape. Getting here from Hakata Station was easy and affordable by taxi, and the hotel’s shuttle bus conveniently drops guests off at Yakan, a far more vibrant and stylish neighborhood than Tenjin or Nakasu. There’s so much to explore: cool boutiques, unique cafes, and local gems that make it feel like a hidden gem. Honestly, I went into this trip with no expectations for Fukuoka, but after staying here, I’m already planning my return. If the price is right, this will be my go-to hotel every time I visit. I sent a quick email requesting help, and the hotel responded promptly—they shipped it back the same day! That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—right across the street from Hakata Station, just steps away from the Hakata Christmas Market and Hankyu Department Store. The only minor downside was that there wasn’t much room to fully open our luggage, which made unpacking slightly tricky—but that’s a small trade-off for everything else. Location-wise, this hotel is unbeatable. The subway station is literally right outside the door, making it super easy to get around town, whether heading to Tenjin or exploring other parts of Fukuoka. With its great comfort, convenient access, and excellent value, I’d definitely book here again on my next trip to Fukuoka.

The large onsen bath with natural hot springs and sauna. I soaked every evening, and it completely melted away the stress and fatigue. The facility is spotless, spacious, and well-maintained. Staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall excellent experience. For the price, this is an unbeatable value—definitely going back next time I'm in Fukuoka.

The hotel is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station—super easy to get to. There's a convenience store nearby, and Canal City is only a short stroll away, making shopping and dining super accessible. The twin room has spacious beds—one slightly larger than the other—but neither feels cramped at all. We had plenty of room to move around and slept comfortably throughout our stay. Great value for money and an excellent location. Definitely recommend this place if you're visiting Fukuoka.
Hotel Trad Hakata
Staying in central Fukuoka can be tough—most hotels are fully booked, but I was lucky to snag this one with a first-floor room and breakfast included. The hotel opened back in 2000, but everything feels brand new and well-maintained. I loved the little touches at reception: self-serve bath salts with essential oils, plus DHC facial cleansers and skincare products—super thoughtful. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, abundant, and tasty. Location is unbeatable: just a 10-minute walk to Canal City, right across from a drugstore and a 7-Eleven. The room is on the smaller side, but it’s very tidy and efficiently laid out—especially the bathroom and toilet area, which feel surprisingly spacious. One minor downside? The hotel’s own parking requires a Times card, but you don’t need to reserve. There’s also a nearby open-air parking lot just steps away—only 900 yen for 12 hours. I arrived around 10 PM and picked up my car at 10 AM the next day—still only paid 900 yen. That’s an amazing deal for convenience and value. Overall, this place delivers great comfort, quality, and location without breaking the bank.
