White Swan Hotel
Staying in the executive suite was an absolute delight. The room was spacious with a clear separation between the living and sleeping areas, offering a real sense of privacy. Everything was brand new and well-maintained—especially the bathroom with its efficient dry-wet separation and instant hot water. The executive lounge served excellent afternoon tea and evening snacks, both in quality and presentation. Despite being near the airport, we could hear planes overhead while walking outside, but inside the room, it was completely silent thanks to outstanding soundproofing. The view from the window was wide open, and natural light filled the entire space—really bright and welcoming. Attention to detail was top-notch, and the value for money truly exceeded expectations. The hidden gem was the small garden behind the hotel—lush greenery, peaceful and beautifully designed. Perfect for morning walks, post-lunch strolls, or relaxing in the evening. A small note: on our first morning, we had breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant. The staff welcomed us and asked what drinks we’d like, but then didn’t follow up with service. If they were busy, perhaps skipping the question would have made the experience smoother—just get the drinks to the table quickly instead. Overall, though, this stay was exceptional.

The room, while modest in size, features elegant Chinese-style decor and exceptional comfort. I was especially impressed by the breakfast—fresh, diverse, and delicious. The service was outstanding, particularly Emily, who went above and beyond with her warm and attentive hospitality. Even though we only stayed one night, the experience left a lasting impression. For travelers seeking a quiet, authentic stay in Guangzhou with excellent value and charm, this hotel is absolutely worth considering.

We recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Centre with our family during a trip to Guangzhou, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! We booked four rooms for two nights, accommodating eight adults and two infants. The hotel kindly upgraded two of our rooms, which made a big difference in comfort and space—truly appreciated. Located right in the heart of the city, the hotel offers convenient access to everything we wanted to explore. Plus, having on-site parking was a huge plus since we were traveling by car. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. Two team members immediately stepped forward to help carry baby strollers—such a thoughtful gesture that made our journey much smoother with little ones in tow. Special thanks to Yumi, who handled all our pre-arrival requests with care and professionalism. She patiently coordinated our room preferences and special notes, and her warm, attentive service made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The hotel is very family-friendly: free cribs were provided, and there’s a small but well-equipped kids’ play area on the 8th floor. Our two young children had a blast playing there, giving us a chance to relax and enjoy some quiet time. It’s not massive, but perfect for little ones to burn off energy. Overall, the level of service, cleanliness, location, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. If we ever return to Guangzhou, this will be our first choice without hesitation.

One of the most maternity-friendly hotels I've ever stayed at! The staff went above and beyond—helping with luggage every step of the way, which made the whole experience so much easier. We also enjoyed a fantastic complimentary photo session: the photographer was quick, talented, and captured beautiful, natural shots—plus they even provided stylish outfits for the shoot! The hotel is housed in a former Qing Dynasty general's residence, and the central garden is absolutely perfect for kids to run around and explore. I’ve heard great things about the Red Cotton Restaurant too—definitely planning to try it on my next visit. With its rich history, warm hospitality, and thoughtful touches, this place truly stands out. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

The location is absolutely fantastic—right across from Tao Tao Ju, so we were able to drop off our bags and head straight there for a meal. The area is packed with dining options, from local street food to casual restaurants, all within walking distance. We’d already ordered some items online before arriving, and upon check-in, the front desk staff went out of their way to retrieve our package from storage and even helped us check in early. Their hospitality made a huge difference. Everything about this stay was seamless—from convenience to service quality. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guangzhou, especially if you value great location and friendly, efficient staff.
