Stayed at Life Space apartment with my daughter for five wonderful days. The location couldn’t be better—just a 5-minute walk to Gor'kovskaya metro station, and the Peter and Paul Fortress is within easy reach on foot. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and green spaces nearby, making daily life super convenient. The apartment was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable with soft lighting, and the mattresses were firm and supportive—perfect for a good night’s sleep. A working air conditioner kept things cool, and the kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, gas stove, cookware, kettle, tea, and coffee—ideal for preparing meals. We had no issues with bathroom availability; there were enough facilities for all guests, and no queues ever formed. The host couple, Roman and Maria, were incredibly welcoming and helpful—they answered every question with warmth and care. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. This place offers excellent value and comfort. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

I booked a lower bunk for one night and extended it the next morning without any issues. Later, the front desk informed me I’d need to move to another room, which I agreed to. When the time came to relocate, I was told I’d be moved to the upper bunk—something that’s quite difficult for me as I’m no longer young. I politely asked for a refund, but instead had to check out in slippers because my sneakers were still wet from laundry and hadn’t dried. I’ve stayed here multiple times before, and the experience was always good—clean, affordable, and convenient. But this incident really damaged my overall impression. The lack of proper communication and consideration for older guests is a serious concern. If management doesn’t address these issues, it’ll be hard to recommend this place to others.

The rooms themselves are decent—recently renovated with intact furniture, which is a plus. However, the experience quickly turned frustrating. We booked upgraded rooms but were initially offered standard ones and had to wait half an hour to get settled. Cleaning only happened after four days, and we weren’t even allowed to leave our luggage at reception. We were told the upgraded rooms were “in another hotel,” despite the website clearly listing them as part of the same property—though with separate entrances. Later, they claimed they couldn’t watch our bags because the manager wouldn’t be around. The manager, Tamara, was inconsistent, hung up mid-conversation, and created unnecessary drama. Overall, this wasn’t a hotel—it felt more like dealing with an unprofessional operation where guests are treated like a burden. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The service, attitude, and communication were all severely lacking.
