Staying at New Siam Palace Ville Hotel was an absolute highlight of our Bangkok trip. The location is unbeatable—just a quick walk from Khao San Road, the Grand Palace, and several iconic temples. If you only have 1–2 days in the city, this is the perfect base to explore major sights on foot. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room itself was comfortable with good water pressure in the shower and decent mattresses—two pillows per bed is a nice touch. While some furnishings felt a bit dated, it’s expected for the price point, and we didn’t mind at all. The pool area is pure magic—luxurious lounge chairs, a poolside bar, and a serene atmosphere that feels more like a resort than a downtown hotel. Even though we were in the heart of Bangkok, the room was quiet thanks to the peaceful alleyway setting and excellent soundproofing. Mosquito nets on the windows kept bugs away completely. Breakfast was fantastic—fresh eggs, omelets, toast, pancakes, cereal with milk, Thai chicken dishes, juices, tea, and coffee—all delicious and plentiful. We’d absolutely choose this hotel again without hesitation.

We were warmly welcomed late at night, and the check-in process was smooth and friendly. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean—perfect for a relaxing stay. What truly surprised us was the pool—it’s rare to find one in a Bangkok city hotel, and it’s surprisingly well-designed, though more geared toward children. I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this property. The cleanliness was appalling—bed linens were visibly dirty and caused severe itching after sleeping on them. Despite reporting the issue, the response was slow and unsatisfactory, and even getting a full refund took much longer than expected. The overall condition of the rooms suggested years without proper cleaning. The location near the river is nice in theory, but the surrounding area is noisy and unclean. It's hard to believe such a place made it onto any booking platform, especially given the lack of basic hygiene standards. I’d strongly advise travelers to think twice before choosing this hotel—your experience could be just as frustrating as mine.

I’ve visited twice now, and each stay felt like coming back to a favorite place. It’s an unforgettable experience with excellent value—highly recommend this charming boutique hotel.

The New Siam II is an absolute gem in Bangkok. Its location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Khao San Road, the National Museum, and the Grand Palace, with a 7-Eleven right next door for quick snacks or essentials. The room was spotless, free of insects, and felt very clean and well-maintained. Everything I needed was there: comfortable beds, quality toiletries, a safe, kettle, mini-fridge, and strong hot water pressure—perfect for a refreshing shower. Breakfast was outstanding—a generous buffet with everything from soups and porridge to fresh fruits, pancakes, and endless drinks. It’s all-you-can-eat and absolutely worth it. I especially appreciated the luggage storage service. I could explore the city freely during the heat of the day, then return feeling refreshed, jump into the pool, and take a quick shower in the shared area near the pool—such a nice touch after a long day. This hotel offers incredible value and hospitality. Highly recommended!
