I was a bit nervous about smoke smell in the room, so I specifically asked the front desk for a unit that had been vacant the previous night—perfect choice! The room was immaculate and completely free of any lingering odors. Spacious and thoughtfully designed, it even featured a little balcony where I enjoyed my morning coffee with a view. The breakfast blew me away: warm congee, freshly ground soy milk and coffee, a great selection of fresh fruits, savory stir-fries, steamed dishes, and homemade desserts—all delicious and well-presented. The oversized, cozy sofa was the cherry on top; I just wanted to stay put all day. Great location, friendly staff, and incredible value for money. This is definitely a place I’ll return to next time I’m in Chengdu.

The room layout is smart and functional, though the two beds are a bit close together, but still very comfortable. Everything in the room feels modern and tech-savvy: automated lighting, a showerhead with a rain shower feature, and even robot delivery for takeout—super cool and convenient. Plus, the lobby has adorable resident cats that add a cozy, welcoming vibe. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and a unique touch that makes your stay memorable. Definitely planning to come back if we visit Chengdu again.

I booked a standard queen room, which isn’t huge but more than sufficient for a comfortable night’s sleep. The room was spotlessly clean, and I loved that it offered three wireless charging spots in addition to the usual USB ports—perfect for keeping devices powered up without cluttering the space. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: just steps from Exit H of Niuwangmiao Metro Station, with easy walking access to Sichuan University Museum and Wangjianglou Park. I’d definitely come back here when visiting this area again, especially with family. Plus, there are so many great dining options nearby—truly a convenient and well-connected base for exploring downtown Chengdu.

First time in Chengdu and I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay — right next to Taikoo Li, with the iconic 3D LED screen just across the street, always buzzing with people filming content. Taikoo Li itself is a high-end boutique shopping street, home to a 1,400-year-old temple, Da Cisi, adding a unique cultural vibe. The hotel is super convenient — just steps from Metro Lines 2 and 3, or you can walk straight through the underground passage beside the hotel to reach the mall. Personally, that route felt smoother and faster. The building has floor access control, but since it’s a mixed-use residential-commercial space, there are often people waiting for the elevator, so if you’re in a rush, plan ahead. That said, everything runs smoothly overall. Before check-in, the manager reached out via WeChat to send over key info and offer instant support — super helpful for any issues like unfamiliar devices. Room amenities were excellent: plenty of outlets, fast Wi-Fi, reliable Daikin HVAC system, washer with detergent included, plus a coffee maker and tea bags (the tea was surprisingly good!). Daily mineral water refills made life easy. The projector TV worked well — just use the remote to adjust focus if needed. One small downside: TV channels weren’t as varied as expected. It seems regional content is limited, and the streaming box requires an account to access. That part needs a quick chat with the manager to sort out. But honestly, these are minor gripes. For the location, comfort, and service, this place delivers top-tier value. I’d definitely book here again on my next visit to Chengdu.

We found plenty of great local eateries right outside, including a popular skewer spot near campus that was packed with people for good reason—it was delicious! The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with a peaceful little courtyard. Bonus: free parking made our trip even more convenient, especially with family. The nearby police station adds a sense of security. Overall, the value for money is outstanding—comfortable, safe, and perfectly situated. Definitely recommend and will return!
