The room was spotless, bright, and well-maintained—exactly what I needed after a rough start. The housekeeping staff were friendly and responsive, always ready to assist. Breakfast at the 30th-floor buffet was excellent—wide variety, good quality, and well-organized despite the high turnout. The rooftop fitness center, sauna, and swimming pool are top-notch: clean, spacious, and professionally managed. Overall, the hotel exceeded expectations in many ways. One of the most maternity-friendly hotels I've ever stayed at! The staff went above and beyond—helping with luggage every step of the way, which made the whole experience so much easier. We also enjoyed a fantastic complimentary photo session: the photographer was quick, talented, and captured beautiful, natural shots—plus they even provided stylish outfits for the shoot! The hotel is housed in a former Qing Dynasty general's residence, and the central garden is absolutely perfect for kids to run around and explore. I’ve heard great things about the Red Cotton Restaurant too—definitely planning to try it on my next visit. This hotel exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in. The lobby is spacious and bright, creating an immediate sense of comfort. The staff were friendly and efficient with check-in—no delays at all. The room was immaculate, with a wonderfully comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom felt brand new, with strong water pressure and consistent hot water—perfect for a relaxing shower. I was especially impressed by the soundproofing; it was so quiet at night that I barely heard any outside noise, which helped me sleep deeply. Breakfast was fantastic—plenty of fresh bread, pastries, fruits, and drinks to choose from, all tasty and well-prepared. Plus, the location is unbeatable: just a short walk to Guangzhou Railway Station and surrounded by shopping areas and local attractions. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this place offers excellent value and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Guangzhou.

Pazhou Hotel (Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center Modiesha Metro Station)

I booked this hotel last-minute for a business trip mainly because of the affordable rate, and honestly, I was expecting something basic or underwhelming. But it completely exceeded my expectations! The bed is just the right firmness—not too soft that you sink into it, not too hard either. It’s perfectly balanced, and the pillows are great too—neither too fluffy nor too high, providing excellent support. To be honest, I slept better here than in some so-called five-star hotels I’ve stayed at before. The room has a slightly vintage decor style, which gives it a unique charm rather than feeling outdated. Located just steps from Modiesha Metro Station, it’s super convenient to get to Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Guangzhou again.
