To our surprise, the kitchen not only allowed us to use the facilities but also gifted us free fries, a side of chicken nuggets, and drinks—just to share with my Chinese friends! It felt so thoughtful and generous. I couldn’t help but smile and say thank you over and over again. This level of kindness is rare, and it truly made our stay unforgettable. Staying at Hotel Hoor Park was a mixed experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help, especially with meal times—very thoughtful. However, I requested housekeeping early in the morning and still hadn’t seen anyone by 4 PM, which was frustrating. Trying to get shampoo felt like chasing a mirage—none available anywhere. The pool, which heats up to 48°C, closes at 5 PM, which is quite early for such a hot climate. It would’ve been great if it stayed open later. While the hotel’s quiet location and overall ambiance are appealing, service consistency needs improvement. A few small upgrades in responsiveness and facilities could really boost the guest experience. Overall, decent for a quick stop, but not without room for growth.
