My double room was surprisingly spacious—way bigger than what you’d typically expect from a city hotel in Japan. There was plenty of room for two people, which made the stay feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff were friendly and included several who spoke fluent Chinese, so communication was never an issue. What really stood out? The price. At just around HKD 270 per person per night, this place offers incredible value. It’s rare to find such quality and comfort at this price point. The only minor downside is that the bathroom is a bit small, but honestly, it doesn’t take away from how much I enjoyed the overall experience. Staying at Hotel Asyl Nara Annex was a fantastic experience! The price is incredibly affordable, and the room is surprisingly spacious—perfect for families with a queen bed and two single beds. It comfortably accommodated my family of three without feeling cramped. The location is ideal: both Todai-ji Temple and Kōtoku-in (Tōshōdai-ji) are within easy reach, and you can get there by simply taking bus routes 77 or 97. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, making it a peaceful place to rest after exploring the city. I was especially impressed by how well-located and budget-friendly this hotel is—great value for money. If you're visiting Nara and looking for a comfortable, convenient, and affordable stay, this one’s definitely worth considering. I’ll be coming back again!

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I saw the exterior, it was clear this place had a stylish and thoughtful design. Inside, the lighting details were everywhere—subtle but effective, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s incredibly convenient: just a 7- to 8-minute walk from either Nara Station or Kintetsu Nara Station, making travel in and out of the city so easy. Plus, there’s a Lawson right across the street—perfect for late-night snacks or essentials. The location is truly unbeatable. Thanks to this great setup, my trip felt much more relaxed and enjoyable. I’m already planning to come back again. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—friendly service, clean rooms, and a lovely ambiance. The breakfast spread was already quite good, but it could be even better with a wider variety of hot dishes and more local specialties. Still, it's a standout choice for anyone visiting Nara. Comfortable, well-located, and truly memorable. I’d definitely stay here again.

If you're looking for a quiet, authentic stay in Nara without breaking the bank, this is definitely a top pick.
