Hotel Russo Turisto
Staying at Hotel Russo Turisto was a solid experience overall, especially given its prime location just steps from the beach. Being on the first line means you’re right in the heart of the action—great for views and easy access to the sea, but also comes with the downside of constant noise, even during off-season. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully furnished, making it comfortable for a relaxing stay. However, breakfast was a bit of a letdown. It’s served at a separate venue through an agreement with the hotel, but the process is slow, the menu is limited, and the food quality doesn’t quite match expectations. If possible, I’d recommend booking without breakfast—especially since there are better options nearby. A change in breakfast partners could really improve the guest experience. Despite that one hiccup, the hotel’s location and value make it a decent choice for travelers who prioritize being close to the water.

Staff are friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Located just a short walk from public transit, getting around the city or heading to the beach is super convenient. Mashuk Hotel is a great choice if you're looking for convenience and comfort in Sochi. Located just a short walk from the main tourist area, it's easy to explore nearby cafes, snack stands, and small shops along Divnomorskaya Street. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing to note is that the entrance isn’t very obvious—first-time visitors might have a bit of trouble finding it. I recommend using your phone’s map to locate the 'Militsiya' bus stop and then walking a few minutes toward the resort area. Getting here from the train station is simple with buses 19, 22, or 95, while the airport can be reached via bus 105 directly to the Metalurg Sanatorium stop—just a quick walk from the hotel. Overall, excellent value, great location, and a stress-free stay. Definitely coming back.
