The high tea experience was absolutely exceptional. From the elegant setting to the impeccable service, every detail was thoughtfully curated. Special mention goes to Charisa—her warm, cheerful demeanor and thorough, friendly explanations made the whole afternoon feel truly special. The quality of the food was outstanding: fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight, perfectly paired with the rich, aromatic teas. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet welcoming, and the location is ideal—just steps from the city center and easily accessible by public transit. It’s not just a treat—it’s an unforgettable experience. I’d definitely return and bring friends along for this gem.

Staying at One&Only Cape Town was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and genuinely personalized. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The views were breathtaking: our room opened directly to the ocean, and waking up to the golden sunrise over the waves felt like a scene from a movie. The design blends modern luxury with authentic South African touches—elegant, sophisticated, and deeply rooted in local culture. Even though it’s close to downtown via public transit, we barely left the property. The calm, serene atmosphere made it easy to unwind and truly relax. It’s not just a hotel—it’s an experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape with stunning natural beauty right outside your door.

Staying at 5 Camp Street Guesthouse & Self-Catering was an absolute delight. The apartment was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed—kitchen essentials, clean linens, and a well-maintained space. Daily housekeeping made our stay effortless, and the location couldn’t be better: just steps away from Kloof Street, surrounded by great cafes, boutiques, and vibrant local energy. We appreciated the secure off-street parking, which gave us peace of mind during our entire trip. Emmy, the host, was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable—she shared insider tips on must-visit spots, hidden gems, and where to find the best local eats. Staying at President Hotel Cape Town was an absolute highlight of my trip to Cape Town. The location couldn’t be better—just a 5-minute walk to the beach, which made morning strolls along the waterfront so relaxing. I booked the Ocean Classic Room with a private balcony, and even though the platform didn’t show any photos of this room type, I had zero worries once I arrived. The rooms (647 and 648) are on the top floor (6th level), situated on the northeast side of the hotel—perfect for catching both sunrise and sunset over the ocean. The views were stunning and truly unforgettable. Since the two rooms were adjacent, we even hosted a little dinner gathering—very convenient and social. The double bed can be split into two single beds, which was great for different sleep preferences. Each room comes with two 1-liter bottles of water, packaged coffee, and tea. The black tea is actually a local South African specialty—I highly recommend trying it! Breakfast was excellent: abundant, varied, and satisfying. One thing to note: the hotel doesn’t provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers—you’ll need to bring your own. Cleanliness was decent overall, but bathroom amenities were basic. The hairdryer was tucked inside a drawer on the desk, and I didn’t find it right away on day one. Daily housekeeping is included, and it’s customary to leave a $2 tip on the nightstand—simple and thoughtful. Keep in mind that South Africa uses Type M plugs, so pack a universal adapter, especially one with round two-pin sockets. Overall, this place stands out for its unbeatable sea views, quiet atmosphere, and genuine charm. Most guests seemed to be from Europe and North America, with few Asian travelers around—great if you prefer a more relaxed, low-key vibe. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and breathtaking ocean scenery.

Staying at Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa was a truly memorable experience. The view from the room is absolutely stunning—every morning I woke up to the endless ocean vista, and the sunsets were nothing short of magical. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, though the mattress could feel a bit soft for heavier guests. A few outlets didn’t work properly in my room, so it’s worth checking when you check in. One thing to note: the hotel doesn’t provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or disposable slippers—pack your own essentials. Breakfast has improved since last year! While still not quite catering to every taste (especially for those craving Chinese flavors), there’s now more variety than before, with fresh local options. Overall, the breathtaking coastal setting makes this place unforgettable. It’s definitely a top choice if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with nature at your doorstep. I’d absolutely recommend it—and I’ll be back.

Security is top-notch, which gives peace of mind, especially when exploring the area late in the evening.
