The William Vale offers a fantastic stay with stylish, comfortable rooms and an exceptional rooftop bar that delivers amazing views and a great vibe. The location is walkable and well-connected by subway, making it easy to explore New York City. While parking fees are on the higher side, they don’t take away from the overall experience. This place truly stands out for its modern design, excellent service, and unbeatable atmosphere—definitely a top choice for a memorable trip.
The Box House Hotel
The Box House Hotel exceeded my expectations in nearly every way—except for the front desk staff, who could have been a bit more welcoming. Everything else was top-notch. The location is fantastic: just a short subway ride from downtown Manhattan, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. My room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air felt fresh and crisp throughout the stay. I especially appreciated the well-lit bathroom with strong shower pressure and smart storage solutions. Even though the check-in experience wasn’t as warm as I’d hoped, the overall quality of the hotel, the attention to detail, and the value for money made up for it completely. I’d definitely book here again when visiting New York.

This hotel is hands down one of the quietest and safest places I've stayed in New York City, with an incredible view of Manhattan's glittering skyline. We traveled with our 2-year-old toddler, and everyone—including the little one—felt completely comfortable and relaxed throughout the stay. The rooms are spacious, the beds are super cozy, and the soundproofing makes for a peaceful night’s sleep. The on-site restaurant is absolutely a hidden gem—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious and well-prepared, even my picky eater loved it. Getting into Manhattan is just two subway stops away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city without hassle. The views from the room are stunning, especially at night when the city lights come alive. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and tranquility. Highly recommend this place for families or anyone looking for a high-quality stay in NYC.
Wythe Hotel
This hotel is absolutely stunning—immaculate from top to bottom, and every staff member goes above and beyond with their warmth and professionalism. While the hotel doesn’t offer parking, there’s a great value lot just a two-minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2.5 days, which was incredibly reasonable. The room itself was a dream: exposed brick walls, soaring ceilings, and a bathroom that felt like a spa—with a massive tub and a powerful shower. Pro tip: if you’re sharing a room with someone you don’t want to see naked, be aware the shower partition isn’t a one-way mirror—you can actually see into it when someone’s showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so no issues there. Both the in-house restaurant and the ramen spot next door are fantastic—definitely worth trying. I didn’t make it to the rooftop bar this time, but since I’ll be back every time I visit NYC, it’s definitely on my list for next time. The room was extremely quiet, and temperature control was effortless. That said, as someone who’s highly sensitive to energy and atmosphere, I did notice some unusual things right from the moment I walked in. Nothing scary—I’m not prone to fear—but I experienced several undeniable phenomena: seeing movement down the hall in both my room and the public corridor, hearing voices speaking clearly nearby when I was alone in the shower, and even hearing the stairwell door open directly beside our room, only to find it empty when I checked. It wasn’t coming from another room—it felt immediate, personal. After returning home, my daughter looked up the building’s history, and let’s just say it shed light on everything. There’s a reason why the third floor (near what used to be a fire escape) felt particularly charged. It also explains why my first thought upon opening the front door was, “I’m surprised they get away with inward-opening doors—this violates fire code.” Anyway, if you’re curious, do your own research. But regardless of all that, this is an exceptional hotel at a fair price, located in a safe and beautiful part of Brooklyn. I’ll be back again without hesitation.

Everything we needed was within walking distance, including public transit that made exploring New York City a breeze. Honestly, I’d have given every category a perfect 5-star rating if it weren’t for the app glitching and automatically unchecking my selections. Despite that minor frustration, this place exceeded my expectations—great value, warm atmosphere, and a homey feel. Definitely planning to return.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, with just the right balance of softness and support. Sure, New York prices are always a consideration, but this place delivers exceptional value for the quality and vibe. No complaints here—this is one of those rare stays where everything just clicks. Would stay again without hesitation!

The rooftop pool is refreshing, and the bar offers incredible views of Manhattan skyline, perfect for evening drinks. Music runs until midnight every night, so it might not be ideal for light sleepers or families with young kids—but for adults seeking a vibrant, stylish stay, this is hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. And kudos for being extremely pet-friendly; my dog felt right at home too.
