Staying at Regard Hotel in Istanbul was a solid experience overall. The room came with three single beds and had generous space—especially nice for a group or family. I was on the 8th floor, which offered a good view of the city. The hotel owner speaks fluent Chinese, making communication easy, while the staff are friendly and responsive, with strong English skills. That said, there’s no air conditioning during winter—only a heater is available. I ran it with the window open, but the room faced a busy street, so I could hear horns, ambulance sirens, motorcycles speeding by, and even occasional shouting from the road. If you’re sensitive to noise, consider bringing earplugs. Breakfast is served in the basement, but the menu stays exactly the same every day—no variety. After a couple of days, it gets repetitive and can lose its appeal. On the bright side, the location is excellent: just under 200 meters from the metro station (make sure to take the right exit). You’ll find convenience stores, markets, restaurants, clothing shops, and more within walking distance—literally everything you need. It’s a great base for exploring Istanbul without needing to travel far. For budget-conscious travelers who value convenience and location, this hotel delivers strong value.
