My stay at Tajview Agra was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is ideal for exploring Agra. What truly made my experience exceptional was the staff—so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. I especially loved the two resident dogs, Max and Maya—they’re adorable and added a special charm to the hotel. The rooftop restaurant, while pricey (a friend’s rice dish cost $17 and tasted just okay), didn’t overshadow the overall great experience. Given the quality of service and ambiance, it’s still worth it. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Agra.

The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Special shoutout to Babita, the female breakfast chef—she personally prepared gluten-free bread for us just because we mentioned dietary needs, which we took on our sightseeing trips around Agra. It was such a thoughtful touch! The gym and pool were clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Plus, there are several great cafes within a 10-minute walk—ideal for coffee breaks or light meals without having to go far. Everything about this hotel felt convenient, welcoming, and well-organized. It’s clear they care about guest experience, and it shows in every detail. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Agra.

The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, making for a relaxing stay. We wished we had more time to explore everything the property has to offer—there’s actually quite a bit to enjoy beyond just the accommodations. A complimentary breakfast would’ve been a nice touch, especially compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at where it’s included. Still, the overall experience was excellent, with great service and a welcoming atmosphere. The location is convenient for exploring nearby attractions, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Would definitely consider returning.

The Hotel Amar offers a clean and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. Our room, recently renovated, was well-equipped with a kettle, two mugs, and two glasses—everything was spotless, including the bedding and towels. While the pool was temporarily closed during our stay, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. The breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and satisfying. It’s a great option for a comfortable overnight stay, especially considering the value. A solid choice if you're visiting Agra.
Seven Hills Tower
Staying at Seven Hills Tower was a wonderful experience overall. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the Taj Mahal, and surrounded by great local eateries and shops. The hotel has a peaceful atmosphere with clean, well-maintained rooms and friendly staff who go out of their way to help. I appreciated the warm hospitality and quick response to any request. The only minor issue was that the exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn’t working, but it didn’t detract much from the stay. Considering the comfort, service, and value, this place is definitely worth recommending.
Taj Inn Hotel
Walking into the room, we were greeted by a live scorpion on the bed—definitely not what we expected! Thankfully, the staff reacted quickly and handled the situation calmly and professionally. Compared to another hotel in Jaipur we booked for the same price, this place truly stands out in every way. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience—maybe even a little adrenaline rush—this is definitely worth a visit. The food was excellent, fresh and flavorful, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. Their dedication to guest comfort and safety made a lasting impression. A huge thank you to everyone who made our trip so special.

However, the room itself felt outdated, and there was a lingering odor that suggested it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned or aired out in a while. The linens looked worn, and the cleanliness didn’t meet expectations. Still, considering the price point, it offers decent value if you’re on a budget and don’t mind basic amenities. For travelers prioritizing proximity to the Taj Mahal over luxury, this could be a solid option—but I’d definitely recommend upgrading the room’s hygiene and maintenance for future guests.

Staying at Hotel Avalon Taj in Agra was an absolute highlight of my trip. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Taj Mahal, putting you right in the heart of Agra’s vibrant local life. You’re surrounded by street vendors, authentic culture, and a real sense of place. The staff at the entrance and front desk were incredibly helpful and welcoming—always ready to assist with directions, luggage, or recommendations. Breakfast was standard Indian fare, but if you're used to Western breakfasts, you can request eggs easily—my choice was delicious. The chai was excellent, served with warm hospitality. I noticed a supervisor walking through the dining area each night with a notepad and pencil, checking on rooms and guest experiences—such a thoughtful touch that shows real attention to detail. My room was spotless, the bathroom met North American standards (toilet paper included!), and the elevator comfortably fits six people and works perfectly. Outside, friendly stray dogs roam around—no worries at all. Next door, I watched older women carrying bricks on their heads while working alongside their children. Moved by the scene, I invited them over and gave each a small amount of money. Moments like this made the stay feel so much more meaningful. Overall, it’s a well-run, authentic, and heartwarming experience.

Taj Square A Luxurious Family Homestay
I actually think this place deserves a 3.5-star rating. On the bright side, it’s exceptionally clean and located in a peaceful residential area, just a short walk from both the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal—perfect for exploring the city’s highlights. The young staff were genuinely eager to please, which was nice to see, but they’re still learning the ropes when it comes to hospitality. For example, the wardrobe had only one hanger, and there’s no kettle—something that would’ve been helpful since there aren’t any shops nearby. My room rate included breakfast, and there was a menu in the room, so I was really looking forward to trying an authentic Indian option. But the next morning, I wasn’t given any choice—I was just handed a basic omelette and toast, so I didn’t even bother going back. It’s clear they’re on the right track, but a little more attention to guest needs—like offering variety at breakfast or including small conveniences like a kettle—would make a big difference. With a few tweaks, this could easily become a solid 4-star experience. Overall, it’s a good value stay with great potential.
