We were initially booked through our tour group, but after experiencing the excellent service and comfort at Chunchen Hotel, we decided to book additional nights directly. The staff, especially a young lady at the front desk, was incredibly friendly and attentive—she even proactively arranged a room facing the quiet courtyard, knowing we were concerned about sleep quality. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The hotel’s overall ambiance is calm and welcoming, located just steps away from Kunming Railway Station and Wanda Plaza, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Breakfast can get busy in the morning, so splitting the dining area into two smaller sections would help reduce crowding. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations—great value, top-notch service, and a peaceful stay. We’ll definitely be returning.

I've been in Yunnan for ten days and originally planned to book a Sheraton hotel, but it was too far from the city center. So I chose this Kunming Xueli Jinxi Hotel near Jinchang Temple Metro Station—and I couldn't be more delighted! The location is perfect: just 20 minutes by metro to the airport and another 20 minutes to the high-speed rail station. When we arrived at 10:30 PM, the front desk staff were incredibly professional—quick check-in, immediate luggage assistance, and even a little welcome gift. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and everything was brand new. The amenities, including the body lotion and shampoo, felt luxurious and high-quality. What stood out most was the daily complimentary soup—rich, nourishing, and delicious. We stayed two nights and loved every moment. After visiting Shangri-La, I actually plan to return to Kunming just to stay here again. The hotel also has a delivery robot—ordering food from outside was so convenient. And one thing I must mention: their facial tissues are seriously impressive. Thick, soft, and never tear or leave residue on your hands—something I’ve never experienced in many five-star hotels. Honestly, this place offers a level of comfort and attention to detail that truly exceeds expectations.

Walking into the room, my first impression was how spacious it felt—this double-bed room easily accommodated four people with room to spare. The bathroom features a smart wet-dry separation layout, making it both practical and hygienic. Breakfast is served on the fifth floor, offering an impressive variety (as shown in the photo), with a clean and pleasant dining atmosphere. What stood out was the row of potted succulents lining the hallway—so many little green plants that brought a fresh, calming vibe to the entire floor. Plus, there are two laundry machines on the same level, which is super convenient for longer stays. Everything from space to amenities feels thoughtfully designed, and the value-for-money aspect is outstanding. A truly memorable stay!
