We were looking for a newly built all-inclusive resort with a great value-for-money price, and this one fit the bill perfectly. Even though it’s not located in the main hotel zone, that actually worked in our favor—quieter and more peaceful, which was exactly what we wanted since we planned to just enjoy the resort facilities without venturing far. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food quality was consistently good—plenty of options, delicious meals, and drinks included. We truly relaxed, recharged, and left feeling refreshed. It felt like a perfect escape from everyday life. Definitely a place I’d return to and recommend to anyone looking for a stress-free, enjoyable getaway.

While the sauna requires booking a day in advance (and slots fill up fast), other amenities like the pool and beach access were excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The only minor downside is the absence of a bathtub, but honestly, that didn’t bother me much. Overall, it’s a well-designed resort with top-notch service and convenience—perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Plus, there’s a 7-Eleven right nearby, which was a lifesaver for my occasional craving for a quick rice ball 🍙—perfect for satisfying a Chinese-style hunger in a pinch. The whole experience was seamless, comfortable, and truly memorable. Definitely coming back next time.

The kitchen was spacious and fully equipped, perfect for making quick meals or just boiling water. The common area is huge and vibrant, and the rooftop party space on the fourth floor adds a fun, social vibe without being overwhelming. On one trip to the beach, it suddenly started raining—I ended up soaking wet, but I washed my clothes myself and the hostel offered a drying service for just 50 MXN. Super convenient and affordable. Special shoutout to the front desk staff member who didn’t wear a badge (and to BRIT!)—always smiling, professional, and gave clear, helpful answers. Their warmth really made the experience feel personal. This place isn’t just about budget stays—it’s about great vibes, comfort, and genuine hospitality. Definitely worth every penny.

Hotel Handall is perfectly located in the heart of Cancún, just a block away from Chedraui, pharmacies, restaurants, and a bus stop heading straight to the hotel zone. The hotel’s café serves delicious food at very affordable prices, though it closes at 5 PM—luckily there’s a 24-hour convenience store right outside for late-night needs. The place feels quiet and mostly empty, which actually worked in our favor—we stayed 8 days and had the small pool all to ourselves for 5 of them. That kind of privacy is rare and appreciated. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained, but the front desk staff were quite serious and not very welcoming. Still, if you’re looking for a clean, low-key stay with easy access to everything, this hotel delivers great value without the touristy crowds.

A few upgrades in furnishings, maintenance, and service would go a long way.
