Staying at this cozy co-living space in Cancún was an absolute delight. It’s centrally located, super affordable, and best of all—has free parking! From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming—they handed me a cold drink right away, gave me my key within minutes, and even took time to walk me through nearby shopping areas, night markets, and local tips like currency exchange and finding reliable agents. Their efficiency and genuine care made the whole experience seamless. Everything was so well-organized, and the value for money is unbeatable. I’d highly recommend this place to any traveler looking for comfort, convenience, and a warm, friendly touch.

I had high expectations for this event at Casa La Selva based on the reviews, but the reality was a major disappointment. We booked a dinner gathering expecting a proper taco buffet with various fillings, but instead received just basic tacos—so simple that I could’ve easily brought them myself. There was no staff attention, no table setup, and no service coordination. The scheduled 8 PM start time was completely ignored; we didn’t even receive the food until 10 PM. This kind of unreliable service makes me rethink my booking strategy—I’ll now only pay after the event to make sure what’s promised is actually delivered.

Ernesto was an absolutely wonderful host—warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel at home. The view from the property is breathtaking, with endless blue skies meeting the turquoise sea. The apartment’s kitchen was fully equipped, so we enjoyed preparing fresh meals with local ingredients. We could easily walk to the street and hop on the small shuttle vans or grab a taxi for quick trips around town. Everything about this place felt effortless and authentic. While it’s not directly on the beach, public transportation options are within walking distance, so getting around town is easy. The staff are genuinely kind, patient, and always willing to help—definitely a highlight of the experience. The only downside was the stained sheets (food marks) and a replacement set that didn’t fit the bed properly—slightly inconvenient, but nothing major. Overall, this place offers great value for money, especially if you’re looking for a quiet, convenient base in Cancún without overspending. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

That said, if you're looking for a budget-friendly option in Cancun and don’t mind these drawbacks, it could work as a basic overnight stop. Just be prepared for some compromises.

We were lucky enough to be assigned the penthouse suite—just for us on the top floor, complete with a private patio and a great view. The space itself was fantastic and very comfortable. However, getting there was a bit of a challenge. The first and second floors felt more like a prison dormitory—loud music, strong smells of alcohol and cigarettes, and loud shouting from men who clearly weren’t on vacation. It felt more like a long-term residence than a hostel for travelers. The location is excellent—super convenient for exploring Cancún—but this place isn’t ideal for families or anyone seeking a quiet stay. If you’re okay with a lively, somewhat chaotic atmosphere and don’t mind the vibe of the lower floors, it could work. But if peace and quiet are priorities, you might want to look elsewhere.
