Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Pera

We stayed at Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Pera for six nights at the end of August, and overall it was a fantastic experience. The hotel has a nice vibe, though it's not brand new—some mirrors on the floors show slight rust, likely due to the humid climate, but it doesn't detract from the comfort or atmosphere. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, speaking fluent English, and one lady even spoke Russian—super helpful when arranging transportation. We booked taxis through the hotel, and unlike street hails where drivers often overcharge, we were charged exactly what was expected. A trip to Sultan Ahmet Mosque cost only around 160–170 Turkish lira (roughly 350 RUB), which is incredibly affordable compared to other options. The rooftop restaurant offers breathtaking panoramic views of Istanbul, and the large lounge area with sofas and tables makes it perfect for relaxing with coffee and a cigarette. While the rooms don’t have balconies, they’re spotless, and the bedding is top-notch—luxurious pillows, high-quality mattress, and crisp linens that made for an excellent night’s sleep. Most guests are international travelers, giving the place a cosmopolitan feel. Breakfast was solid with a good variety of options, though we never saw meat served—which might be a downside for some. But there are plenty of affordable, tasty cafes right outside the hotel, catering to every taste. All in all, this was one of the best stays I’ve had in Istanbul, especially given the location, service, and value.

Radisson Blu Bosphorus Hotel, Istanbul

The staff here went above and beyond—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, though a bit noisy from the street, so improving soundproofing would be a great upgrade. What truly made this stay unforgettable was the location—right in the heart of Ortakoy. I woke up early just to capture the iconic Ortakoy Mosque with the Bosphorus Bridge in the background—it’s pure magic. Right next door is a Michelin-recommended restaurant, perfect for a special dinner, but if you're looking for something casual, there are plenty of affordable local spots within two minutes' walk, all with stunning sea views. I also highly recommend stopping by the tea lounge at the Four Seasons for a quiet moment, then heading to Yıldız Palace and Beşiktaş Çarşı for a taste of local life—all easily accessible on foot. This hotel isn’t just about comfort; it’s a gateway to some of Istanbul’s most charming neighborhoods.

Radisson President Beyazit Istanbul

This hotel is absolutely outstanding! The location is perfect for exploring the old town, the port, and the Galata district—everything is within walking distance. There are countless cafes and restaurants right around the corner, making dining a breeze. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room with a good view during booking, and they not only remembered but also upgraded me to a room with a private terrace—what a delightful surprise! The lobby is spacious and welcoming, yet staff remain attentive and personable, unlike some boutique hotels that can feel too formal or distant. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, from check-in to checkout. The service is top-notch, the ambiance is elegant, and the value for money is exceptional. This stay exceeded all expectations—I’d definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.

The Halich Hotel Istanbul Karakoy - Special Category

Stayed here twice and couldn’t be happier. The room was spacious with a great layout, and the staff went above and beyond—so friendly and helpful. On my second visit, I was upgraded to a better room and treated to a delicious complimentary dessert that actually tasted better than what you’d find at a local shop! The only minor downside is that it’s a bit of a walk from the metro station—about 8 to 10 minutes—but honestly, it’s totally manageable. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and full of charm, with plenty of cafes and local spots nearby. A short ride or a quick taxi gets you anywhere you need to go. Overall, an excellent value and a truly enjoyable stay—I’ll definitely come back.

Victory Hotel & Spa Istanbul

My stay at Victory Hotel & Spa Istanbul was absolutely delightful. The breakfast was outstanding—fresh, diverse, and well-prepared. The spa facilities were relaxing and impeccably clean, and the gym and swimming pool were top-notch, with excellent maintenance throughout. Located in a prime spot, the hotel is just steps away from both the tram and metro, making it super easy to explore the city without hassle. That said, I noticed the lighting in my room and around the pool area could be improved—it felt a bit dim at times. Also, the Wi-Fi signal in the room was quite weak, which made streaming or video calls a bit frustrating. Still, these minor drawbacks didn’t take away from the overall experience. With its great location, superb amenities, and warm hospitality, this hotel offers incredible value for money. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

38 Hotel

Staying at 38 Hotel was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs—when I asked if we could extend our check-out time by two hours due to my mom’s age and a shuttle scheduled for 5:30 PM, they kindly agreed without hesitation. The location is absolutely unbeatable; it's just a short walk to Osmanbey Metro Station, making it super easy to explore Istanbul on foot or via public transit. Breakfast was generous and varied, offering plenty of options to suit different tastes. Plus, Carrefour is literally right around the corner, so grabbing essentials or snacks is a breeze. Clean rooms, friendly service, and great value—all reasons why I’d definitely stay here again.
