What really stands out is the pricing—it’s significantly more affordable than the others without compromising on quality. Mandarin Oriental wins for interior design and exceptional service, plus it’s just a short walk to Marina Bay Sands, so the higher rate makes sense. Fairmont? It’s decent, but not much better than Swissotel in terms of experience, yet priced higher. This was our third stay in Singapore, and Shangri-La stood out for its excellent Chinese-speaking service—many staff members were fluent in Mandarin, making communication easy and welcoming.
