This stay was a special birthday treat, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and featured a huge TV—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. We had both a bathtub and a shower, plus a king-sized bed that made for a very comfortable night's sleep. Being just steps from Bourbon Street meant some evening noise, but the hotel kindly provided earplugs, which worked great. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful—they offered personalized recommendations for local restaurants and even shared info on food delivery options right to our room. While we didn’t get a chance to use the gym or pool, the location more than makes up for it. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the Mississippi River, making it ideal for those who want to enjoy the city’s iconic waterfront views. With its prime spot, excellent service, and welcoming vibe, this is definitely a top pick if you're visiting New Orleans.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Roami at the Lola! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated in New Orleans—just a short walk or quick ride away from all the major attractions, great restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. What really stood out was how personalized the experience felt; the team even helped us plan a local tour that turned out to be one of our favorite parts of the trip. Staying at Roami at Duncan Plaza was an absolute delight. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with all the kitchen essentials I needed to whip up a few meals. The bed was incredibly comfortable—woke up feeling refreshed every morning. What really stood out was the location: just a short walk to the library where you can catch the shuttle bus to and from the airport. Plus, it’s only a quick stroll to the French Quarter, making it easy to explore the city’s vibrant streets and lively atmosphere. Perfect for travelers who want convenience, comfort, and a real local feel without the hassle.
Roami at Motorworks
The space is incredibly large, which is definitely a plus, but the moment you walk in, the smell hits you—like sewage. It was overwhelming and made the whole experience unpleasant. The main bathroom had a serious leak issue, flooding the bedroom every time it was used. The shower area was visibly moldy, which raised hygiene concerns. The kitchen faucet was extremely loose and wobbly, making it frustrating to use. While the open layout offers great potential, there are no rugs, so conversations were hard to hear over the echo. The couch and chairs were uncomfortable—definitely not ideal for relaxing. That said, the beds were actually very comfy, which was a bright spot. However, there were no wine glasses provided at all, which was a bit surprising. Overall, despite the spaciousness, the lack of maintenance and basic amenities really hurt the experience. If these issues were addressed, this could be a much better stay.
Sonder - Maison de Ville
The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood with endless activities nearby. Walking distance to everything, especially during Mardi Gras, the front entrance on Toulouse Street buzzes with energy, giving you front-row views of the city’s lively celebration. Across the street are two great bars—Molly’s and The Dungeon—adding to the festive vibe. But step into the back courtyard, and it’s like stepping into a quiet oasis: a peaceful fountain, lush greenery, and soft jazz music drifting from the restaurant across the way at just the right volume. We stayed in Room 2, which opens directly onto this serene space—huge bed, relaxing bathtub, and total comfort. The only minor issue? The courtyard shares access with the neighboring bar, and since the doors look similar, a few people accidentally wandered in thinking it was part of the bar. Still, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in the French Quarter. Being able to switch between the electric atmosphere of New Orleans’ famous celebrations and the calm of birds chirping by the fountain made our trip truly balanced. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s where we recharged, relaxed, and felt completely at home.
Sonder — The Pythian
Staying at Sonder — The Pythian was an absolute delight! The apartment is beautifully designed and perfectly located—just a short walk to the French Quarter and Harrah’s, making it easy to explore everything nearby. There are tons of great restaurants and a lively bar right below the building, so you never have to go far for dinner or drinks. The unit itself was well-furnished, clean, and had powerful air conditioning that kept things cool during the hot Louisiana days. Check-in instructions were clear and detailed, so getting in was seamless. Everything about this stay exceeded expectations—super convenient, comfortable, and full of character. Highly recommend for anyone visiting New Orleans!

But once inside, I was pleasantly surprised—quiet neighborhood, spacious and stylish condo, and everything we needed was within easy reach. There were plenty of great dining options nearby, and being close to art galleries and cultural attractions made exploring so convenient. The location is ideal whether you're here for sightseeing or just relaxing. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting New Orleans—it’s a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and charm.
Sonder Tremé
The property didn’t match the description at all—photos were misleading, and the actual unit fell far short of expectations. I arrived to no water in the apartment, which I had to turn on myself the second day—a major inconvenience. I requested compensation for the poor experience, but the platform refused to address it. I was promised a manager call back three separate times, yet never received a single one. Customer service was extremely unresponsive and frustrating. Overall, the entire stay was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable or comfortable stay.
