Our stay at Lemon Tree Hotel Agra turned out to be a real highlight, especially since the area isn’t very touristy and is quite a distance from major attractions. The restaurant truly saved our night—great food quality, delicious meals, and excellent service. Yes, the price is slightly above average, but honestly, it was totally worth it. Special shoutout to Arun and Himanshu—they were absolutely amazing, always helpful and friendly. Sanjeev also went above and beyond to assist us. The whole team made us feel welcome and well taken care of. From comfort to hospitality, everything was top-notch. If you're visiting Agra, this hotel is definitely a strong choice. We’ll definitely come back.

The property boasts great amenities: a welcoming bar, on-site restaurant, free parking, a small shop, and luggage storage—perfect for travelers wanting flexibility and comfort. The multilingual staff were consistently friendly, cheerful, and always eager to assist with anything we needed. Our room, designed for guests with disabilities, was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. It included a good-quality bed, TV, safe, ironing board, and an electric fan—essential since the room isn’t air-conditioned. While there’s no fridge and the windows aren’t double-glazed, the street outside is quiet enough that noise wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was a highlight—affordable per person, generous in portion, and offering a wide variety of local and international options. The orange juice stood out as a true indicator of quality; fresh, vibrant, and delicious. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant during our stay, so can’t comment on those, but overall service and atmosphere were excellent. This was a top-tier experience, especially considering the location and value. I’d happily return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Agra.

The next morning, the driver picked me up early for sunrise at the Taj Mahal, where John joined me as a knowledgeable and passionate guide. We enjoyed breakfast at a scenic café, then explored Agra Fort and the Baby Taj—both absolutely worth the visit. Lunch was shared before the driver took me back to the bus stop for my next journey. On the bright side, it’s exceptionally clean and located in a peaceful residential area, just a short walk from both the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal—perfect for exploring the city’s highlights. The young staff were genuinely eager to please, which was nice to see, but they’re still learning the ropes when it comes to hospitality. For example, the wardrobe had only one hanger, and there’s no kettle—something that would’ve been helpful since there aren’t any shops nearby. My room rate included breakfast, and there was a menu in the room, so I was really looking forward to trying an authentic Indian option. But the next morning, I wasn’t given any choice—I was just handed a basic omelette and toast, so I didn’t even bother going back. It’s clear they’re on the right track, but a little more attention to guest needs—like offering variety at breakfast or including small conveniences like a kettle—would make a big difference. With a few tweaks, this could easily become a solid 4-star experience. Overall, it’s a good value stay with great potential.

Yet this place held steady on their regular rate, took our booking over the phone without any hassle, and even skipped the security deposit at check-in—what a relief! Massey and Kuldeep were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished—photos don’t do it justice. If you're visiting Agra and want a comfortable, affordable, and genuinely warm experience, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back.
