Breakfast was standard Indian fare, but if you're used to Western breakfasts, you can request eggs easily—my choice was delicious. The chai was excellent, served with warm hospitality. I noticed a supervisor walking through the dining area each night with a notepad and pencil, checking on rooms and guest experiences—such a thoughtful touch that shows real attention to detail. My room was spotless, the bathroom met North American standards (toilet paper included!), and the elevator comfortably fits six people and works perfectly. Outside, friendly stray dogs roam around—no worries at all. Next door, I watched older women carrying bricks on their heads while working alongside their children. Moved by the scene, I invited them over and gave each a small amount of money. Moments like this made the stay feel so much more meaningful. Overall, it’s a well-run, authentic, and heartwarming experience.

My group of four traveled to Agra for a seminar starting at noon, and we had booked this hotel online in advance—fully paid upfront for three nights. When we arrived for check-in, the front desk staff refused to honor our reservation. A tall, dark-skinned employee stood there and demanded an extra ₹2,000 just to get in. I explained we already paid everything and asked why we’d have to pay more. He simply said, 'Pay up or leave now.' We were running late, so after pleading and trying to reason with him, he finally agreed—but only if we paid another ₹1,000. We reluctantly complied. Then came the worst part: the room was filthy, absolutely unclean. We asked for another one, but were told no rooms were available. They directed us to contact customer support instead. What followed was two hours of frustration—three different agents passed us around like a hot potato. Each one sent us to worse hotels, none of which met our needs. We made it clear we didn’t want any Oyo-affiliated properties anymore and insisted on a refund. Only after prolonged back-and-forth did one agent agree to process the refund. While I ultimately decided not to take legal action due to personal reasons, the entire experience left me deeply disappointed. The lack of professionalism from both the hotel and the platform is unacceptable. If you're considering booking here, go in with eyes wide open—don’t trust online listings blindly.
