I stayed at Sheraton Hanoi West during a layover in Hanoi, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The hotel’s lounge offering a three-hour cocktail hour from 6 to 9 PM was a real highlight—huge variety of food, high quality, and easily one of the best I’ve experienced anywhere. Drinks were self-serve, which made it super relaxed and enjoyable. Breakfast was equally impressive with a wide range of delicious options, though I arrived early and couldn’t try everything—really wish I’d had more time. The first cup of cappuccino was excellent—so rich and smooth I had to order a second. Unfortunately, the second serving wasn’t quite the same, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, this hotel stands out for its comfort, service, and attention to detail. I’d definitely come back without hesitation.

The stay was satisfactory overall—nothing extraordinary, but definitely met my expectations. Located just a short walk from the metro, it’s super convenient for getting around Hanoi. The area is lively with plenty of local eateries and small shops nearby, so you’re never far from food or essentials. The room was compact but well-organized, with a comfortable bed that made for a good night’s sleep. Everything worked as expected—air conditioning was strong, Wi-Fi was reliable, and hot water was consistent. The staff were polite and helpful, always ready to assist with any request. One minor downside was the sound insulation; I could hear some noise from the floor above, especially during quieter hours, but it didn’t disrupt my rest much. All in all, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a no-fuss, budget-friendly option in a central location. I’d consider staying here again on future visits to Hanoi.

Staying at Top Hotel was a pleasant surprise—affordable, peaceful, and well-located near the historic Sino-Vietnamese Friendship Palace. The building itself has a unique heritage, originally part of a Chinese-built guesthouse that’s now been beautifully reimagined into this modern yet charming hotel. While the original structure shows its age, the renovation maintains character while offering comfort and cleanliness. The food is excellent—hot dishes are plentiful (five or more options), fresh, and hygienic. It’s about a 1-kilometer walk to Korean Street, which takes around 15 minutes. The area is lively with plenty of restaurants, shops, and a large shopping center nearby, making dining and shopping super convenient. Most guests seem to be from Korea, giving the place a friendly, international vibe. Overall, it’s a great value stay with a quiet atmosphere and easy access to local life—highly recommend for travelers looking for authenticity and convenience.
