Staying at Rixos Downtown Antalya was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel truly lives up to its reputation—luxurious, well-organized, and full of charm. The buffet dining experience was outstanding, with a wide variety of international and local dishes that were fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, especially Anna—her warm smile and attentive service made a lasting impression. One of the highlights? Having access to our own private beach. The sand was clean, the sun loungers were abundant, and there were plenty of drinks available throughout the day—no need to worry about refills. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. This wasn’t just a stay—it felt like stepping into a legend. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable getaway.
Mediterra Art Hotel Antalya
Staying at Mediterra Art Hotel in Antalya was an absolute highlight of my trip. Located right in the heart of the old historical district, it’s perfectly positioned for exploring the city on foot. My room, 321, had authentic Turkish decor—warm, stylish, and full of character. Daily housekeeping was excellent, with fresh shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion replenished every day. The linens and towels were crisp white and very clean. One thing to note: toothbrushes and toothpaste aren’t provided—bring your own. The front desk staff, Yekaterina, spoke Russian, English, and Turkish fluently—super helpful and friendly whenever I needed assistance. Beach towels are available upon request at reception. Getting to the beach requires a 20-minute tram ride, but there is a paid beach nearby in the historic area, though it’s set on rocky hillsides, so not ideal for lounging. Just outside the clock tower, there’s a currency exchange with great rates—very convenient. Breakfast was a real treat: four types of local cheese, two kinds of olives, warm pastries, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs or omelets, and deliciously seasoned grilled vegetables. Hearty, flavorful, and more than enough to keep you energized all day—no one left hungry. However, the downside? Loud music from nearby cafes and restaurants played until around 1 a.m. every night. This was especially noticeable in room 321, which felt like a dance floor—noise was constant, even with earplugs or headphones. No matter how many times guests politely asked to lower the volume, the response was always dismissive—almost as if they were told: "You’re here to party, not sleep." So if you're a young traveler who loves late nights and nightlife, this place is perfect. But if you're someone who values quiet evenings and early bedtimes, think twice before booking. It’s a fantastic hotel in every way except for the noise—just know what you’re signing up for.

It’s a bit tight in terms of space, but that just adds to the charm of staying in such a central, authentic area. Around the property, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and the nearest large supermarket is just a 10-minute walk away. Location-wise, you're within a 5-minute walk of the port, Adrian’s Gate, and the tram stop—perfect for exploring Antalya’s old town. One small note: the street can get a bit noisy in the evenings, but by midnight, everything quiets down—only the occasional parrot call breaks the silence. Also, the wooden staircase leading up to the apartment is quite steep, but we didn’t mind at all. We’ll definitely be back!

The bed and bedding were fantastic, and all the bathroom fixtures worked perfectly with strong hot water pressure. The staff were exceptional—welcoming and friendly, with one lady who spoke both Russian and English. We were checked in two hours early without any extra charge, and even after check-out, they allowed us to leave our luggage at reception for half a day. They greeted us warmly every morning, kindly asking if we needed cleaning (we didn’t, but appreciated the thought), and always seemed eager to help with anything we might need. The small pool looked clean and inviting, though we didn’t swim due to the weather. Breakfast was solid—good variety including eggs, fresh bread, snacks, vegetables, cheese, and cold cuts. Overall, the atmosphere was calm and quiet, yet close to all the old town attractions. Public transport access is excellent, making it easy to explore farther spots. One minor downside: the room felt chilly during colder nights, but turning on the heater fixed that quickly. The bathroom was particularly cold, but given how windy and frosty it was outside, this seems seasonal. Honestly, we couldn’t find any other negatives—this little urban gem truly delivered.
