It was crowded but full of energy, definitely worth checking out. The location is super convenient, just steps from the subway station, making it easy to explore the city. What stood out was their proactive gesture—offering to reserve a better-positioned room for us the next day, which showed genuine care and attention to guest comfort. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly comfortable for a short stay. Being located just a 10-minute walk from North Square of Nanjing South Railway Station made getting around incredibly convenient, especially for travelers catching trains or connecting flights. One minor downside was the sound insulation—some noise from adjacent rooms could be heard, and the room wasn’t particularly bright, so lighting could use improvement. Still, considering the location, cleanliness, and excellent customer service, this is a highly recommended option for budget-conscious travelers or those needing quick access to the station.
Yixuan Anlai Hotel (Nanjing South Station Zhonghua Gate Subway Station Branch)
This is my second stay at this hotel, and I’m even more impressed this time around. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a quick getaway or business trip. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—just a short walk from Exit 3 of Zhonghua Gate Metro Station, and crossing the street brings you right to the doorstep. It’s super convenient for reaching Nanjing South Railway Station too. What really makes this place special is the nearby Nengrenli Farmers Market—full of local charm and delicious street food. You’ll feel like you’re experiencing real daily life in Nanjing. The only minor downside is that sound insulation isn’t perfect—hallway noises are noticeable—but considering how affordable the rate is during off-season, it’s totally worth it. I slept well and felt relaxed throughout my stay. Overall, an excellent choice if you value convenience, authenticity, and great value.
