Breakfast was a highlight with two dining options: a Japanese-style buffet and a Western one, both offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious choices. I particularly appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Umeda (Osaka Station)—it’s super convenient, saves money (a taxi would’ve cost around 40 CNY), and drops you right at the station with no hassle. Just be mindful during rush hours when it gets busier; otherwise, shuttles run every 15 minutes, making it reliable and efficient. Overall, the hotel delivers exceptional value and comfort. A top-tier stay in a prime location—highly recommend for anyone visiting Osaka.

The location is excellent: just a short walk from Nishinakajima-Minamigata Station on the Kitaosaka Kyuko Line. There are at least three Family Mart stores nearby, plus one Lawson—perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials. You can also reach Shin-Osaka JR Station easily on foot, making it super convenient for train travel across Osaka and beyond. The room itself is compact, as expected for a typical Japanese hotel, but everything was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for convenience, cleanliness, and good value.

Just a 2-3 minute walk from Exit 7 of Honmachi Station, the location is ideal for exploring Osaka. The station entrance has both escalators and elevators, making it super easy to carry luggage, especially helpful during busy travel days. The area around the hotel is a quiet business district with excellent safety—perfect for solo travelers or those who value peace of mind. There’s a 7-Eleven and a FamilyMart right near the station, so grabbing snacks or essentials is never an issue. What surprised me most was how many golf specialty shops are scattered nearby—great for golf enthusiasts looking to pick up gear or souvenirs. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great value—all in all, this is one of the best stays I’ve had in Osaka. Highly recommend!

Staying at Toyoko Inn Osaka Tenjinbashi-Suji Rokuchome was a great experience. The hotel is only four years old, so everything feels fresh and well-maintained—no signs of wear and tear at all. Cleanliness is top-notch, as expected from Japanese standards; every corner felt spotless, which really stood out. Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated in the heart of the city. Just 200 meters from the subway entrance, you can easily access major attractions. Right outside the station is a long street packed with shops and food stalls—kind of like an open-air market, very lively and fun to explore. Within 500 meters, you’ll find one of Osaka’s most beautiful rivers, perfect for a relaxing walk. And if you keep going another 4 kilometers, you’ll reach Osaka Castle—great for a scenic stroll with plenty of stops along the way. The staff were a highlight too—there was a young Chinese-speaking guy at the front desk who’s lived in Japan for 15 years. He was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. Breakfast was simple but satisfying—basic and budget-friendly, ideal for travelers looking for something quick and no-frills. Overall, this place offers excellent value, convenience, and comfort in a prime location. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Osaka on a budget or seeking a hassle-free stay.

The on-site hot spring baths were a real highlight—I visited almost every day and found them incredibly relaxing after long days of exploring. The location is fantastic—just a 7-8 minute walk from the subway station, with a convenience store right downstairs for all your essentials. Within a 10-minute stroll, you’ll find plenty of dining options, from casual eats to local favorites. It’s such a convenient and comfortable base for exploring Osaka. With great amenities, easy access, and a cozy atmosphere, this hotel offers incredible value. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip!

That said, the location is a bit tricky to find—it’s tucked away in a small building with an unobtrusive entrance, so you might need to do a little exploring to locate it. Still, once you’re inside, it feels like a hidden gem. I was happy to get a complimentary drink upon arrival—a nice touch! The champagne in-room is paid, but that’s expected. One downside: the on-site omakase dinner was disappointing—way too bland and not worth the price. I’d skip it if I were you. Overall, though, everything else hit the mark—the ambiance, design, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. It’s definitely a place I’d stay again, especially for travelers who appreciate character and charm over cookie-cutter hotels.

Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were seamless thanks to the self-service kiosks—no waiting in line, just quick and efficient. I loved how close it was to major spots like Umeda, Namba, Kyoto, Kobe, and the airport. Plus, there are some charming little restaurants nearby that add character to the neighborhood. Overall, this is a smart choice for travelers who want comfort, convenience, and a peaceful stay—all at a great price.

The location is absolutely perfect! Just a 10-minute walk from the airport via JR or airport bus, and shopping at Hankyu or Mitsukoshi is just as close—no more than a few minutes away. There’s a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven right next door, plus a really convenient Ichiran Ramen spot nearby. The room itself is huge by Japanese standards, with a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine—so much convenience for a long stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making every interaction feel personal and welcoming. I’ve stayed at many hotels before, but this one stands out for its comfort, practicality, and exceptional service. Definitely planning to come back.

Staying at Travelodge Honmachi Osaka was a great experience overall. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was spacious and well-designed—very comfortable to use. The hotel is just a 7-8 minute walk from Honmachi Station, making it easy to get around Osaka by subway. Staff were friendly and helpful, and on a rainy day during my stay, they even provided complimentary umbrellas—such a thoughtful touch! The only minor downside was the lack of bottled water in the room, but that didn’t take away from the overall quality. I had originally booked a three-night stay, but due to a flight cancellation, I needed to check out one day early. While I reached out to negotiate a revised rate or refund, unfortunately, the hotel declined any adjustments. Still, despite this small issue, the location, cleanliness, and service made it a worthwhile stay, and I’d definitely consider returning.
