The Westin Seattle
Our short stay at The Westin Seattle turned out to be a perfect little escape in the heart of the city. We arrived late and decided to stop by for just one night, but ended up loving every moment. The hotel’s location is fantastic—just steps away from downtown and only a quick walk to Demetrius Jazz Alley, where we enjoyed a memorable dinner surrounded by live jazz music. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the meal was absolutely delicious. But what really stood out was the room—the beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep after a long day exploring. From the welcoming staff to the thoughtful touches throughout the property, this was an exceptional experience. I’d definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Seattle.

Breakfast options weren’t extensive, but they covered the basics of a typical American breakfast—eggs, toast, fruit, and coffee—so it was satisfying. One tip: if you’re sensitive to noise, avoid rooms facing the street, as traffic can be noticeable at night. We opted for a quieter side room, and it made all the difference—peaceful and restful. Overall, great value, excellent service, and a fantastic stay!

I chose to stay near the University of Washington because I’d heard the downtown area isn’t the safest, and honestly, this was one of my best decisions.
