The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming; Vahid greeted me warmly both around 11:30 AM and again at 9 PM on Sunday, May 4th. His friendly service made a real difference. The hotel is well-located, just a short walk from public transport, making it easy to get to the stadium. Excellent value, great atmosphere, and top-notch hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Bordeaux.

It’s clear the management values guest experience in terms of accommodation quality. The staff at the alternative front desk were friendly, professional, and helpful, which really eased the confusion. With better signage and clearer directions, this would easily be a top choice for visitors to Bordeaux.

Upon arrival, I found two bath towels in the bathroom—but that was it. No hand soap (especially surprising post-pandemic), no coffee pods, and no other essentials. The kitchen is well-equipped, but the lack of basic coffee supplies was frustrating, especially with no cafés nearby. I followed up again (offering to pay) for additional towels, and was told they’d be delivered by 11 PM. The next morning, they were still missing—likely taken by other guests who needed them just as much. Honestly, who could blame them? In the room, we did find a clothes rack and several plain white plastic bags… with a broken ballpoint pen. That’s a bit odd. We ended up leaving one night early. If I wanted a barebones stay, I’d expect it to come with clear expectations—not hidden gaps in service. I shared my disappointment with the host, who responded dismissively, saying she couldn’t understand how I’d managed to survive travel so far without such basics. It felt like she didn’t realize the world has changed. Today’s travelers expect at least the fundamentals: clean towels, hygiene products, and simple comforts. Let’s move past the 80s mindset. This place has potential, but it needs better attention to guest needs and updated standards.
