I honestly don’t know whether I should write a glowing review, because if we ever return to Amsterdam, this place will definitely be fully booked. From booking to check-out, everything ran perfectly thanks to Patrick—what an incredibly warm and thoughtful host. We felt completely at home throughout our stay. Thank you so much for helping with our luggage—those little touches made all the difference. Our suite, the Canale, was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed: shampoo, body wash, hairdryer, coffee machine—all in working order. The table was even graced with lovely pink peonies, adding such a nice touch to our experience. The location was ideal for exploring Amsterdam, and Patrick’s restaurant recommendations truly elevated our culinary journey—we didn’t have to stress about finding good spots for breakfast or dinner. We highly recommend getting a GVB public transport pass; it makes getting around so easy. And we were especially grateful that Patrick arranged a taxi for our airport transfer. Keizersgracht Residence
Staying at Keizersgracht Residence in Amsterdam was an absolute highlight of our trip. We booked the 100 sqm Presidential Suite, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The master bedroom is spacious, quiet, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night’s sleep. The second room, while smaller, features a bunk bed that worked out great for our kids and didn’t feel cramped at all. The living area, kitchen, and lounge were beautifully designed with high-end finishes throughout. Everything you’d need is here: Miele appliances including washer, dishwasher, and dryer, elegant furniture, and a warm, magical atmosphere that made us feel like we were staying in a private home rather than a hotel. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—everything major in Amsterdam is within walking distance, from museums to canal-side cafés. The neighborhood is safe, peaceful, and full of charm. Bram, the host, was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. He made us feel welcome from day one. Every cent spent was worth it. This place has a special magic, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. A flawless experience—10/10 without hesitation.

Being in the heart of the canal district, I highly recommend booking a river view room. Sitting by the window, watching the gentle flow of the canals and the charming architecture glide by, is pure relaxation. The hotel maintains excellent cleanliness and modern amenities throughout. The minibar is restocked daily and completely free—such a nice touch! Everything about this stay exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely return and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

A friend recommended this charming B&B, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Located in a classic canal house, the owner and his family live on the upper floors, while I stayed in a ground-floor room with a lovely canal view—quiet, intimate, and full of character. I was able to check in right upon arrival in the late morning, and the host kindly stored one of my suitcases during my short pre-cruise stay in Amsterdam—perfect for those traveling light. The room was cozy and well-appointed: a comfortable bed, a fully stocked bathroom, a small table with two chairs, and thoughtful extras like coffee, cream, and other daily comforts. Each morning, the host personally delivered breakfast to my room—fresh fruit, delicious croissants, rolls, a boiled egg, jams, butter, honey, and muesli. It was a delightful start to the day. I didn’t use the TV, so I can’t comment on that feature. The location couldn’t be better—steps from restaurants, shops, and all the major sights in central Amsterdam. Walking distance to everything makes exploring effortless. The host is also happy to offer personalized recommendations if you’re unsure where to go. One small tip: if visiting in summer, close the room-darkening curtains during the day, as the west-facing sunlight can heat up the room quickly. Overall, an exceptional stay with genuine hospitality and a wonderful home-away-from-home feel.
