The desk is the right size and height for working on a laptop or doing paperwork, and there's even a built-in power card so I can charge my devices safely while out. I especially appreciated the breakfast area: partitioned for small group meetings or business discussions, equipped with tea kettles, coffee machines, and a warm, welcoming vibe. At night, the complimentary porridge service is a real treat—just one bowl, some pickles, and a steamed meat bun, and I didn’t need to worry about late-night snacks. Food delivery options nearby are plentiful, and the robot room service arrives quietly with soft audio cues instead of jarring phone calls—much more pleasant than other hotels where robots seem like they’re trying to scare you. The laundry area has two washing machines, a sink, an ironing board, and even a steam iron. They provide Blue Moon detergent and Dettol disinfectant—great touches. The dryer is located inside a glass-roofed courtyard, though only one unit is available. There’s also a small fridge (though it’s not cooled in winter), which comes with two bottles of mineral water daily, plus soda options like Sprite and Fanta—though I don’t drink carbonated drinks, so not sure if they’re replenished daily. Leftover food? Just use the microwave by the kitchen door—it’s handy and accessible. The front desk is open 24/7 and staff are attentive and friendly. Getting there is easy: follow Jinbao Street into Xiao Yabao Lane, and the illuminated sign on the rooftop makes it easy to spot. Taxis are readily available. A few small suggestions: adding draft strips to the glass courtyard doors would improve insulation, and the dining trays or bowls could be upgraded to ones with heat-resistant bases. Overall, this place nails the balance between style, comfort, and functionality. It’s ideal for business travelers who value efficiency, quiet, and thoughtful details. I’ll definitely come back on my next trip to Beijing.
