I also have a sensitive stomach, so lack of rest only worsened things, and I couldn’t handle heavy or greasy meals. That’s when the team stepped in with kindness: they proactively arranged a room transfer to the quieter Water Pavilion area, which made such a difference. To top it off, they brought me a warm bowl of soft, comforting congee with light side dishes right before bedtime. It wasn’t just food—it felt like care. We drove in and had to provide our license plate number to the front desk in advance—security at the gate would only let us through after confirmation. The hotel is located within a campus, so it’s incredibly quiet, especially at night, making for a peaceful stay. The front desk staff were super friendly—they even offered us complimentary breakfast for all three rooms! It was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. After breakfast, we took the back door from the hotel straight into Xiamen Botanical Garden. Since we arrived before 7:30 a.m., entry was free—no ticket needed. We spent a lovely morning exploring the garden, then walked back via the west gate of the botanical garden, which was just a short stroll from the hotel. Following the front desk’s advice, we avoided the hassle of parking in Zhongshan Road and took the metro instead—only two stops from the hotel, easy access to the area. We strolled all the way to Baishi Seafood Market, where we picked up some local treats like Huangyuan Tang and Yilan Pastries—perfect souvenirs! To get back, we hailed a taxi, which took about 7–8 minutes. Everything was convenient, well-planned, and thoughtfully arranged. This place truly delivers on comfort, location, and value. A top-tier experience that I’d definitely return to.

We arrived on a rainy day and were pleasantly surprised when the host upgraded us to a better room for free—since another guest had canceled their booking. The lobby is spacious and welcoming, with a long table perfect for working or relaxing, plus a microwave available for guests’ convenience. On a sunny day, sitting in the backyard with a cup of tea would be absolutely ideal. The room itself was spotless and beautifully designed with a minimalist, modern touch. Everything you’d need was provided: shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, towels, bath sheets, hairdryer, electric kettle—all thoughtfully included. The water heater delivered strong, consistent hot water, making showers very comfortable. We even got plastic slippers for use in the bathroom. The bed was incredibly cozy, and we slept like babies. Even though it was raining during our stay, lying in bed listening to the gentle sound of rain tapping against the balcony window was oddly peaceful. There were few other guests around, so the place felt quiet and intimate. While the property isn’t right next to a metro station, getting there by taxi or bus was easy and convenient. Unfortunately, we couldn’t explore the neighborhood due to the weather, but I’ll definitely come back if I visit Xiamen again. This place offers an unbeatable mix of comfort, charm, and value—highly recommend!
