Later, I noticed the curtains didn’t close completely, so I mentioned it to the cleaner outside the door. She came right in, tried to fix it, and even called the security guard when needed—all with a smile and zero hesitation. Super helpful and warm. Even ordering food via robot delivery was seamless and convenient. One minor downside: the GPS location isn’t very accurate—taxis often drop you off at the back entrance, requiring a bit of a walk around the building. Also, there’s a faint low hum from something outside the hallway at night—maybe electrical equipment? It’s barely noticeable, and since I’m sensitive to sounds, I initially thought it was the air purifier (but it persisted even after turning it off). Still, it wasn’t disruptive. These are really tiny issues that don’t affect the overall experience at all. All in all, this was a fantastic stay. I’d definitely come back if I ever return to Xiamen.

We arrived on a rainy day and were pleasantly surprised when the host upgraded us to a better room for free—since another guest had canceled their booking. On a sunny day, sitting in the backyard with a cup of tea would be absolutely ideal. The room itself was spotless and beautifully designed with a minimalist, modern touch. Everything you’d need was provided: shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, towels, bath sheets, hairdryer, electric kettle—all thoughtfully included. The water heater delivered strong, consistent hot water, making showers very comfortable. We even got plastic slippers for use in the bathroom. The bed was incredibly cozy, and we slept like babies. Even though it was raining during our stay, lying in bed listening to the gentle sound of rain tapping against the balcony window was oddly peaceful. There were few other guests around, so the place felt quiet and intimate. While the property isn’t right next to a metro station, getting there by taxi or bus was easy and convenient. Unfortunately, we couldn’t explore the neighborhood due to the weather, but I’ll definitely come back if I visit Xiamen again. This place offers an unbeatable mix of comfort, charm, and value—highly recommend!
