Downright Austin, A Renaissance Hotel
Staying at the Downright Austin, a Renaissance Hotel was an absolute delight! The atmosphere is fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. I was especially impressed by the great value for money; to top it off, they waived the self-parking fee during our stay, which felt like a nice surprise bonus. Located just minutes from the state capitol and right off the city’s main highway, getting around Austin was so convenient. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel delivers comfort, location, and excellent service. Highly recommended—definitely planning to come back!

Everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained. No complaints at all—just pure relaxation from start to finish. The location is great, quiet but still close to everything, and the staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable stay in Austin with that personal touch, this is it. I’ll definitely be back.

Staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Austin-University Area was a fantastic experience overall. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with excellent bedding that made for a restful night's sleep. The hotel’s cleanliness throughout the property—especially in common areas and hallways—was impressive. One small note: the bottled water provided in the room was a bit limited in quantity, so I ended up refilling at the lobby station. That said, it’s a minor detail. The location is perfect for exploring the University District and downtown Austin, with easy access to public transit. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall value for money is outstanding. I’d definitely stay here again.

The property matched the description perfectly. Spotlessly clean and incredibly convenient for a family of four. Its location is ideal—close to local restaurants, attractions, and everything Austin has to offer. We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed exploring the city, which is a must-visit stop on any Texas road trip. The only downside was parking—available in the building but at an extra cost. It’s worth noting if you’re driving, so plan accordingly. Despite that, the overall experience was excellent, and we’d definitely return.

If I could rate it higher than 10, I definitely would. A must-stay for anyone visiting Austin!

This hotel is incredibly convenient and practical for my weekend visits to see my daughter, who studies at UT Austin. Just an 8-minute drive from campus via I-35 South—super easy and fast. The room is comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, making it the perfect base for short stays. Great location, friendly staff, and excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

It’s a great spot for exploring Austin on foot or by public transit. The only small suggestion: adding a small table and two chairs would make enjoying the balcony even better. Otherwise, everything is perfect—clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed. Would definitely stay here again.
